Liked: Partly renovated room. Quiet, comfortable. Easy check-in and staff were lovely. Rooms were refreshed the second day with clean towels (love this), with generous restock of tea/coffee and toiletries. Microwave supplied. Renovations were underway in other units. Hotel component had a reasonable menu, friendly staff and food was nice. Aircon was good. Didn't like: Toilet roll holder was not secured on the wall, though the bathroom had been refreshed/renovated, the fittings were old, taps were hard to turn off and dripped and leaked. No toaster or crockery/cutlery provided to give us the option to eat in. Fridge worked fine but aesthetically unsightly with rust along the bottom. Cupboard where cups/tea/coffee were was misaligned and sticky to open and close. Not enough pillows. Blinds did not entirely cover windows across to other units and some did not work at all.

Staff were very friendly and helpful... quiet location even though hotel next to pub... shower was luke warm on first morning but absolutely cold on 2nd morning.... I wasted so much water hoping the hot water would kick in but it never did... ordered food from pub for dinner thought I over paid but I had an old menu in my room... staff apologised and replaced the nenu...

Some rooms had been refurbished but we were definitely not in one of those. The bathroom needs updating the shower flooded the whole bathroom and didnt look clean because its so old. The balcony had an ash tray with old cigarette butts in it yuk. No cultery to eat our heated up meals with. Pity the rooms are not on par with the front of house staff who were excellent and couldn't do enough help.

Stayed here a couple months ago. My first room was not cleaned at all. I was upgraded then stayed a further 3 nights. Just stayed again for the night and it was excellent. Love the peace and quiet.

Needs maintenance and repairs before rebooking!
Waited 20mins at reception to book in. Hot water tap handle in shower is broken. Vanity basin doesn’t drain properly so fills up trying to wash hands or face. Whistling noise through windows which are not sealed correctly. Mattress quite uncomfortable. LHS bedside light not working.

Air conditioning control is confusing and air conditioner is very noisy. Had to turn it off to hear the TV and to sleep. TV remote doesn’t work very well and many stations are not there or pixilated. Besides that excellent.
