This place surprised me. It had 3 pools throughout the property. There was a gym and kiosk at reception. The main pool was located a reception and short walk through the complex. It was heated and quite large. There was a massive secure underground carpark which had left access to the block where your unit is located. The unit we stayed in was styled beautifully and had comfortable and good sized lounge chairs. There was a coffee pod machine which was a bonus. It’s located just across the road from a Coles supermarket, speciality shops and lots of places to eat. It’s directly across from the beach although if you stay at the back if the complex it’s a small walk through there plus across the park to get to beach.

Roomy, clean, very comfortable! I was so very impressed by the experience of staying at “Coolum at the Beach”, and I look forward to the next time that I can visit. Located close to almost everything you could need during your stay. Secure parking (height limit 2.18m, if you’re interested). It’s little things that I’m going to mention, and they are so minor that they won’t stop me from recommending the property. As someone that likes coffee in the morning and had booked for 2 adults, 2 nights, I am glad that I brought my own coffee pods, as only 2 pods were supplied. If you like sugar in your coffee or tea, it might also pay to bring some extra sugar sachets. BONUS though - Coles is across the road, so as long as you arrive during their open hours, you can get anything you need. Dan Murphy’s & Cellarbrations are also a short walk away. The pizzas from Amore pizza (a 3 minute walk!) are deliciius!

The unit we stayed in was top notch. Everything was in very good order. The new flooring looked great. I did worry about using the cooktop or toaster because of the notice above the rangehood about the call out fees for the smoke alarms. The parking area was a bit smelly at times and the garden behind our unit was not looking as smart as usual. The reception staff were really friendly and helpful. Overall a really enjoyable stay.

Stayed in Building 1, the room was really nice, clean and the bed was super comfortable. My only complaint would be the room had a slight sewer smell when we walked in. I did mention this to reception when checking out and apparently it is a known problem with building 1.
