This Hotel is in a great location once you can get through the awful roadworks and closed roads in Stuggart. Great value for money and staff very good. Only gripe was despite asking in advance about car parking was not told about the under ground garage behind the hotel resulting in our friends getting a ticket and fine for parking on the road behind the hotel.

Very dated property with everything worn out. Next to a school with kids playing and screaming all day long. Also across from a church with church bells going off all hours of day, night and midnight. Also next to a major road with traffic and street cars. Close to the football stadium so game nights the noise continues all through the night into the morning hours. A bit far to walk to old town especially in the summer heat. No air conditioning. No outlets near the beds. No tissue paper in the room. Great employees and great parking garage.

We had an great time at the Spahr Hotel. The service was excellent and Paul was great on the bar at night. The hotel transport links were excellent with a tram station outside the hotel and a train station only 10 minutes walk. The hotel might look a little dated but we liked the style as it was a bit different to your usual generic hotel.The bathroom was modern. The room was very clean. The room was large & had a balcony. Thanks a great stay!!

Property was immaculate. Breakfast is good and staff super efficient. Hotel is across the road from U bahn stop, into Stuttgart in 15 mins. Plenty of bars and restaurants in walking distance. Don't miss out on Bad Cannstatt, it's worth exploring too. I had a superior single room. Not sure what the superior tag provides, but it can't be additional space in the bathroom. I'm pretty small and it was a tight squeeze for me in the bathroom and shower cubicle. The hotel was unbelievably hot. There is an air con unit, but it seemed to be fighting a losing battle. The nearby church chimes all day, every day and not just on the hour, so window was closed which add to the sauna effect. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

Nice and quiet area
This is a traditional German hotel, with wooden decoration. I have nice sleep for two nights. It does not have air conditioning but at night is very cool. Quiet area.

Beautiful craftsmanship seen throughout it, bartender was a humorous fellow, and all the staff was great. Breakfast was delicious as well with good showers and the bed was comfy. Our room had a sunroom, not just a deck, so it made it possible to enjoy tea in the brisk morning. One note, the carpet is older, but beauty of the woodwork, marble, and other aspects more then make up for it.

We needed a different day, and would subsequently book that date, and a date further out, plus eat the inhouse hotel restaurant. They were not willing to change, so we booked a different hotel, twice, and will spend our money there.

Great hotel in a busy area.
Hotel is up to date and rooms are spacious, breakfast is very good and staff is attentive. Unfortunately we had an off smell that seemed to come from the bathroom that we couldn't negate. Perhaps it is from the plumbing or due to construction work going on in the street, not overpowering but just enough to disturb your senses. There is an underground parking facility which was very helpful but parking is tight, some customers had no where to park.

We got catfished
We booked a stay in Hotel Spahr, once we arrived the host/receptionist was exceptionally rude and did not offer any parking options although it was said that the parking was free. When we got the room it was not Superior Double Room as advertised, rather it looked like an uglier version of the Standard Room. We asked for an upgrade but the host declined and said that the hotel was complete (full). The halls and room smells of cigarettes and humidity. The host does not speak any English and is rude towards their customers. The hotel does not look like advertised on pictures... Cherry on top was our room view, of the cemetery..not really romantic:( With all the mentioned minuses we decided not to stay there...

Nice older hotel next to U-Bahn stop!
Plenty of space with large room. Hasn't been updated in a loooong time, but a perfect quick stay for a concert within easy walking distance to the Porsche and Mercedes arenas and fest grounds. Friendly staff and a better than average breakfast, which was a nice surprise. Clean and comfortable!
