Enjoyed the view.
Cabin was clean and as advertised. Really enjoyed our stay. Would stay again. Only critique would be to get anti-slip mats for the carpets in the living room.

A Needed Respite
The cabin is as pictured and sits in an area surrounded on 3 sides by trees and mountain valleys. The entire cabin was spotless and looked fairly new. The smell of the wood planks lining the cabin was very calming. Trip times to town or destinations will run shorter during the day but will increase at night. Some/most of the roads have no overhead street lights and no markings. Although warned of potential bear encounters, we saw very little large wildlife during our stay. Lots of birds of prey and smaller wildlife. Wife got excited by the owl hoots the first night there. They echoed through the quiet valley for miles.... Highly recommend. Host (Greg) was very communicative and worked to ensure our stay was cost and time effective. He has truly fashioned a wonderful treasure about 30 mins from the middle of everywhere.

Great Stay
We had a great time at Greg’s cabin. Everything was clean and thought out for a good stay. Greg was very responsive and provided additional info to help us have a great stay. The view from the cabin is great and we had a nice quiet stay. Would recommend Floyd for some good restaurants and cute shops to peruse.

Amazing view adorable cottage.
Adorable tiny cabin, closer to the road than we expected but the road is not used much. Bring anything necessary for cooking as there are very limited kitchen supplies. We probably cooked more than most do so this wouldn't be a problem for most. The view was amazing, bed was comfortable, water hot and the place was clean. Definitely worth 5 stars and a second stay!

Sweet Getaway
This was the perfect little getaway to celebrate my husband’s 30th with a quiet weekend with great views. The place was comfortable and very clean. Has what you need for a wonderful stay. I had to do a little work while we were here and even the WiFi was able to handle what I needed so that was a pleasant surprise!

Wonderful View!
This is a fantastic cabin with a spectacular view. Enjoyed the solitude of no other houses within view, gives you the feeling of complete privacy. The cabin is very clean with comfortable furniture and plenty of supplies provided that you need for a long stay. It is within 30 minutes of grocery stores and restaurants. Highly recommend Railway Cafe in Bassett and Pickle & Ash in Stuart. Did some hiking in nearby Fairystone State Park, good trails, moderate difficulty. Would definitely rent this cabin again.

Enjoyable and relaxing
First Impressions when I walk through the door. Very clean. Laid out well. Overall it was a very enjoyable time. The only drawback I had and it's a very small one. No laundry room. Would have washed whatever I used there if there was one. Other than that I enjoyed every moment later

Cute Little Cabin
The cabin itself was very cute and clean. No toiletries like soap provided which would have been nice. Usually vrbos will have basic items one may need. The hot water smelled very bad so showering was not pleasant. It smelled like rotten eggs, I am assuming a sulfur smell. Also I did not realize there was no wifi but I had service and it was fine, not a big deal. Great for a weekend but would not want to stay more than a couple of days. The property itself was very pretty but the surrounding "homes" were sketchy looking. At night it was a little warm as there is no AC and I was hesitant to open a window. Out in the middle of nowhere for sure, the nearest store was 27 minutes away so come with supplies. The owner was very responsive and the cabin very clean. Bed and pillows could have been more comfortable but not bad. Great place if you are looking to get off the grid for a while.

Unplugged View
Amazing long-range views of the mountains in a remote setting. Perfect place to unplug from the busyness of life and allow the beauty of nature to replace the cell phone. We rated the cleaning as three-star primarily due to a miscue with the cleaning company but Greg, the owner, quickly addressed the issue. Stuff happens and it is how it is addressed that separates good from great...

Perfect Cabin
This cabin is exactly what we were looking for! We wanted a cute getaway spot near Fairy Stone State Park for us and our two kiddos. This cabin checked all the boxes. The cabin is cozy but it has all the amenities we needed; full size fridge, hot showers, and a stunning view of the mountains. We enjoyed breakfast on the deck, followed by a hike at the park, and then back to the cabin for lunch. In the afternoon we went hunting for fairy stones at the park hunt site, participated in two Ranger led activities at the park, and then went back to the cabin for dinner on the deck. We brought all our own food and didn't need to find a restaurant or grocery store. We didn't see any stores besides the Fairy Stone Pit Stop gas station but Flloyd isn't far away and we would highly recommend a visit there if you wanted restaurants or a fun evening at the Floyd Country Store. The cabin is immaculate, communication with the host was easy, and we had a wonderful time. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

I would rate our experience more than a 5. if possible. If and when we return to this area this is where we will stay. We highly recommend staying here.
