Go on unforgettable hikes or ride your mountain bike through the wild mountain landscape. Enjoy a ride on the gondola lift up Strandafjell, which takes you 1,042 metres above sea level. Once at the top, you have a fantastic view of the Storfjord, the UNESCO World Heritage Site and the fjord village of Stranda. The cabin is also a good starting point for excursions to Geiranger and Hellesylt, and in Hevsdalen there are a number of lovely swimming spots along the river. There are also great hikes to the wild Sunnmøre Alps. The mountains drop vertically into the fjord from 1500 to 1700 metres above sea level and offer everything from easy routes and marked trails in flat mountain valleys to more challenging climbing routes.
