Found multiple blood spots on sheets.
Mary, while my husband and I would love to leave your beautiful location a perfect review, we cannot. Finding blood on the duvet the moment we arrived at 4pm, having to sleep under it because there was no spare queen duvet, and not being given a new duvet until 8:30am the next morning was a hard way to start a trip. Meeting you was nice the next morning, and I wish we could have had direct contact with you instead of your management company. When I asked them another question, they assured they would get back to me and never did. When we found more blood on the backside of a dark pillowcase the morning we were leaving, they insinuated it was sketchy that we didn't tell them about it sooner. I have never had to fully unmake a bed to check for bodily fluids before. That's what the cleaning fee is for. You seem like a decent human being (as noted in guest book excerpts left by previous guests). We never had direct access to you. Assuming you're decent, you need to be aware that your cleaning staff has cheated you by making a bed that was obviously contaminated. And your property managers are lax and either don't respond OR accuse us, the guest, of not keeping them accountable (ex: their guidebook said a spare set of towels would be in the loft, no spare towels were left, and I was scolded for not telling them). I was given $40 as a 20% refund for the blood found on the bed the moment we arrived. No cleaning fee refund is going to be given for the remaining blood.
