Step back in time with this all-original vintage camper. Notice the details of the craftsmanship, the coziness of the birch paneling, and the elegance of design elements. Built with the efficiency of a sailboat, this camper has everything you need for an extended stay: bathroom with shower, kitchen closet storage space, and the perfect little table for sipping coffee, reading, writing, or simply enjoying the sound of the nearby stream, the breeze making the aspen leaves flutter, being in the mountains. Outside the door is a picnic table, and the stream is a short walk away.
The Space includes:
· 1 Bedroom
· 1 Bath
· Queen-sized bed
· Kitchenette
· Stocked bathroom with shower
· Free parking
· Stream view
Take a stroll over a little bridge to the wonderful Wagon Box restaurant, which is a family bistro with an espresso bar, tavern, and large deck for outside seating with an adjacent sandbox and Tonka toys. Inside there is also a Library where you can read from our wide selection, work from your laptop, play chess, etc. Get your food to go and have a picnic by the creek. Open Tues-Sat 8am-8pm. Sun 8am-2pm.
Story is a hidden gem in the Bighorn Mountains, an easy 25 min drive from Sheridan or Buffalo. Hardly out of the way if you are heading by on Highway 90. The town, population 903, is convenient for mountain climbing, fishing, horseback riding, swimming, and hiking trails, as well as several historical sites. It is also perfect for wildlife watching, and you will likely see deer and wild turkey from your window.
You can easily walk to public trails, fishing spots, and even to a local outfitter’s corral. Buffalo Mountain Outfitters does trail rides. It is adjacent to the property: (307) 217-2539
