The room smelled like urine (I work at a hospital, I know..). It is very noisy with the freeway and people playing loud music in the parking lot. With my earplugs I could mask the freeway noise. It was a rancid smell of urine and cigarette burns in the sheets and covers.

Good stay overall
The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. I wish there was an iron in the room, but there was only one for the entire hotel. The lobby also closed before we got there at 6:30 pm, which we found weird, but we're still able to check in at the night window. Again, all the staff and even the inhabitants were very friendly.

This Lodi Motel 6 is one of the nicest motel 6's I've ever stayed at, and I've stayed at a lot, all over the country. I love their pet acceptance and no charge for pets. The matress was almost as good as the one at home. Pillows and linens are as expected from this chain: clean but thin and small. I WOULD stay here again! Bonus: novelty ice cream for sale in the lobby.
