The noise was unbelievable! This hotel is right in party central. If you get a room at the front of the building you will struggle to sleep if there’s anything going on. Otherwise I can’t complain. I had a great stay.

The hotel has very questionable policies of selling small and unfit rooms to families. We were forced to buy an upgrade to a suite when we discovered that the room we had booked for 4 people only had three beds. The hotel is overall old and very much in need of a renovation. The rooms are small, (the so called suite is a suitable room for 4 people, but definitely not large) the service is more a 3 star level rather than 4. The staff is nice but bound to unpleasant policies from management. Only good point was breakfast and location.

A week in Stockholm
Good value accommodation. Staff very friendly. Great breakfast, with good choice of hot and cold food. Well situated in lively area with shops, bars and restaurants. Underground (Tunnelbana) station next door.

Good choice
Scandic always have great breakfast. This was very busy. Staff super helpful. 3 adult bikes for hire for free. Very odd wallpaper- gave me nightmares! Right by metro with good buses too.

There are many reasons one should stay at the Scandic. Here are two of the best: the hotel sits on a metro station, so efficient, cost-effective transport to all parts of the city possible from your doorstep; and the breakfast buffet offers quality food with generous options for all category of eaters.

At first looked a bit basic but it’s a Great location, small windows open which is nice, comfortable rooms and beds. Great breakfast. We ended up extending our stay which says it all.

The best thing about this hotel is the location - situated in Södermalm just above a metro station, short walk to the old town etc Plenty of food and grocery options nearby Rooms very clean and more than adequate size wise The breakfast was fantastic… so many options even gluten free and vegan. Egg bacon meatballs pastries bread cereal granola plus much more The only criticism we had was the street below can be quite noisy especially on a Friday night with drunk revellers making constant noise until the early hours - not ideal if your a light sleeper
