Our stay was good. Only small complaint of the lock and door handle on front door as well as very steep stairs.

Exactly as Described!
Very clean and well stocked. Centrally located to everything you need like restaurants, attractions, and hiking. Heed the 4-wheel drive warning in the winter! We loved that it was the last house on the street so no car traffic driving past. Exactly like the pictures and well stocked toiletries. No dishwasher so dish tabs are not needed. Loved having a washer and dryer. The stairs are really steep so if you have issues getting up and down stairs I would pass. Only reason for 4 stars is the couch. It is not conducive to a "romantic getaway" or lounging. It is pretty much two recliners attached. Only thing I would change in the cabin, but we were gone a lot of the time so it didn't matter much. Check-in/out was a breeze and really easy. Communication was very detailed. Would stay again and recommend!

Nice getaway
We live in Lexington KY, and just wanted to get away for several days. This cabin had everything we needed and was very clean. Hot tub worked great. Private and beautiful location. Near tons of great hikes. One downside: stairs to loft not save for older guests (didn't matter for us); very steep. Would stay again.

Dangerous but nice
The cabin is nice but the stairs are dangerous. I'm a fit person and am able to walk up and down the stairs; however, the stairs at the cabin are narrow and they installed anti-slip strips on the stairs which were helpful. However, they missed one more and that was where I slipped and injured myself badly. Don't bother to use their washer and dryer. Their washer machine is extremely dirty. Full of mold. There is no extra sheets available (they left the dirty sheets on the top of the dryer). There's no extra towel to dry the dishes. The contact person is not available. The remaining cabin is clean and nice. We enjoyed the privacy.

Wonderful Red River Gorge cabin
The cabin was great! With only one bedroom, not right for a large group. But perfect for 1-2 people. Within easy reach of hiking, zip lining, kayaking, and more. And with a hot tub and a hammock, incredibly relaxing. Highly recommend!

Romantic Hideaway
My boyfriend and I stayed there for three night's and 4 days. The place was perfectly located by both the parks and close to everything we needed. However, getting up to the cabin was an adventure of itself as it's located up pretty high with steep hills and sharp turns, so being a confident/comfortable driver is a must. The cabin was very neat and clean and included everything we needed for our stay, even a coffee and popcorn maker. My only complaint was that the stairs matched the steep hill and weren't made for the clumsy, but they were great practice for some of our intense altitude hikes! 😆 We did not end up using the hot tub but used the campfire every night. I would suggest buying a starter kit and firewood is available nearby for purchase. They did provide everything else, which was nice.

This was a nice little get away! Many pros to the place including how handy it was to the various activities in the area, nice hot tub, clean, and cozy. We found we needed the recommended 4 wheel drive vehicle to get up the climb to Debbie Lane. The steep stairs to the bedroom loft were a challenge at first but we adapted. The cabin was stocked well, the hot tub was delightful and the remote setting was perfect for the rest we looked forward to.

Perfect Quiet Getaway
We loved the location of the property. The cabin was clean, the hot tub was nice, everything was in working order. We loved the decor and cozy feel of the cabin. They even had games and anything you might need for your stay as far as kitchen utensils, towels, toilet paper and such. It was a perfect distance from hiking trails and restaurants. We hiked all day, ate, and enjoyed the peaceful evenings at the cabin. Would definitely return!
