Booked this hotel after a wedding, so we didn't check in until late in the evening. The lobby was large and airy and it looked like it was going to be a good place. It was not. The rooms are SO DIRTY from years and years of neglect. Gross.

Not worth the price!
Hotel lobby was very impressive however our room was not. Very outdated. We had a handicap room and the shower was terrible. It did not drain and water on the floor. VERY dim lighting in room. Website said free breakfast—not true. Breakfast was nothing but fatty food. Had to pay for parking! Very expensive but definitely not worth the $$. However Daniel Willis was very nice!

The Stamford never disappoints. I stay there at least once a month and sometimes twice a month. The rooms are nicely sized with a very comfortable bed and good pillows. The staff is helpful and willing to go the extra mile. Once I picked up takeout with a side order of fries and forgot to get ketchup. Even though the restaurant was closed a staff member found me ketchup in the kitchen.

Nice Hotel, but Could Be Better
Hotel is clean and in good location and customer service is good. It has a pool, but it is quite small. The double beds vs. queen sized beds in the double room were a bit small. It had a nice seating area in the lobby and to-go breakfast sandwiches to buy, but wouldve been nice if there was an included breakfast. No free parking available - it's $20
