Welcome Home! That is how you will feel the minute you step into this six bedroom, three and a half bath classic beach cottage! You won’t find a better property for your family than this. You can even bring your four-legged family members as well! Located in the desirable East Beach area, this home is close to many great restaurants including Crab Daddy's, Fiddler's, The Crab Trap, and more. You also won't be far from the Pier Village, where you'll find some of St. Simons' most popular shops, restaurants, and activities such as putt putt, bike rentals, Southeast Adventures, and the lighthouse. There are also brand new pickleball courts in the Pier Village area! This classic property has it all with its eclectic beachy charm. The ground floor offers a large living room with plenty of seating and flat screen TV, a large formal dining table, and a galley style kitchen that is larger than most. The master bedroom with TV and king bed is on the ground floor and has a Jack and Jill bathroom with standalone shower that connects to the second bedroom with two twin beds. The second floor has a long hallway that divides the bedrooms on each side. On the left you will find the third bedroom with a queen bed and a bathroom with shower/tub that connects to the fourth bedroom with two twins. On the right is the same set up, fifth bedroom with a queen bed, full bathroom with a standalone shower that connects to the sixth bedroom with two twin beds. Every bedroom has its own sink to wash up a little before bed or when you first wake up. There is a large screened back porch that leads out to the private use in ground pool. This home is a convenient 10 minute walk to the nearest public beach access and less than three to four blocks from the desirable East Beach US Coast Guard Station! Pets considered with non-refundable pet fee of $200. We are sorry for any inconvenience, but the pool cannot be heated.

Faulty wiring - wires coming out of wall with no outlet Rusty washer, 1/2 bath is in the washroom out back and very hot, lattice on back porch not properly attached l. Rusty screws protruding from doors, screens on back porch had holes. Mold in shower, exposed rotting wood around many door facings. I’m sure there is exposed lead paint. We informed the property manager, but no apology or an action taken. You get it. The house is not safe, especially for children. I was very disappointed.

Great vacation

The house was a great layout for us. We loved the screened porch and pool area, it was perfect to hang out. We spent most of our time at the house on that porch or in the pool. The walk to the beach wasn’t too bad, but we did rent a golf cart to haul all our stuff over.

Happiest Vacation Ever!

We traveled to St. Simons with all of my family and my parents and my nephews and had the best week ever!!!! We loved spending time on the porch watching the kids swim! The home is delightful and had everything that we could ever need. We felt blessed to get to spend the week at Tabby Quarters!

Beautiful location but disappointed with house

This was a first time in over 10 years, we had a big family vacation. We had 12 people total in our group. My parents, my sisters, and their families. House was big enough for all of us. The property was in a nice area on beautiful St. Simons Island. The locals are very nice and relaxed. The property management company was friendly and helpful. But, the house is run down and does need a lot of work. I saw others reviews that said rustic but this house needs a little more work before I would consider it rustic. The furniture and decorations were fine and could be considered rustic. The walls need painting, the floors, especially on the second floor need to be redone. The floor in the kitchen slanted a little. The door knobs were in bad shape. Locking doors was interesting to say the least. The 4th street access to the beach is really the 3rd street access and that is walking through a grown up swampy area. I recommend walking to the coast guard entrance. All trash cans were completely full when we got there on Saturday. So, we had to hold all of our trash in the back room until Tuesday. Even the recycling bin was full of trash. We had to physically move the pool vacuum every day because it stayed in one place. And we could tell the floors had not been clean. Our feet were all filthy within an hour of us walking barefoot in the house. From reading the owners book, we know it is a work in progress. But, for the amount of money it cost to rent, I believe it should be further along. Will not go to that particular house again but will definitely go to Island again.

Good location.

The bedrooms, living area, and porch were nice. The bathrooms left a lot to be desired. The kitchen was not clean. There was leftover coffee in the coffee pot that was put in one of the cabinets. There were food stains/drips on the inside doors of several of the cabinets. Many of the kitchen items had to be washed before I used them. The pantry was so musty that I didn't put any of our food in there. 4 of us had to start taking allergy medicine after being there one day. The shower heads were dirty. We have stayed on St. Simons every summer for about 20 years, and I've never had a place be dirty like this.

Family vacation

The house was clean and roomy. The pool was wonderful. My grandchildren swam all the time. The walking access to the beach was not a great trek. We drove to the public accesses instead. The only bad thing about the house was all the gnats. We will definitely stay there again!

Great location

Loved the location of this place. It was slightly more rustic than I imagined when I rented it, but it definitely served all of our needs well. Check-in and check-out were incredibly simple.

It's a charming older home, cottage style. My kids and grandkids throughly enjoyed the pool. Great location to the beach! We had a wonderful time there.
