Things to Do:
We have a guest book in the condo but a ride over to Jekyll Island certainly is a 'must do'. They have a sea turtle rehabilitation center. Not sure about Driftwood beach. It got hit pretty hard by one of the hurricanes that came through and we have not been over to Jekyll lately. Driftwood Bistro is my sister's favorite restaurant and is on Jekyll island (I think it's good too).

Cumberland Island is also extremely interesting to visit. You have to make a reservation to ride the boat over. It is a bit of a drive from SSI but well worth it. They have wild horses and other wildlife. Also some really rich family used to own the island. Think it was the Carnegies. I would recommend you take the guided tour. It is a little pricey but so interesting.

Deep sea fishing - lots of charters that you can catch at the marina or the pier (we have not done this though).

Downtown Brunswick. Lots of cute restaurants and shops and they have made a bunch of films there. Very interesting.

Finally, the Island is very fun to explore. You may just decide to stay on the Island to be quite honest.

Beautiful Condo in Great Location
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it. It's just a short drive from town and the beach. On a side note, the mattresses are very comfortable to sleep in unlike many other rental places we've stayed.

This condo made for a very enjoyable week. Kitchen had everything that we needed to cook. Thank you, (because some kitchens are a little sparse) Beds were comfy and towels were great. Biggest thing always though is cleanliness and this unit was clean. Thank you for making this unit available to rent - we had a great time.

Nice place. Furniture was a little dated in the living room. Very comfortable beds. It would also have been helpful to know it was on the 2nd floor with no elevator. Great location with easy drive to shopping, restaurants and the beach. Really enjoyed the pool.

Great location. 10 min walk to town. 5 min drive to Massingale Beach. Access to rest of island requires a car but bicycles are rentable. SSI has always been a favourite for us and we are still big fans.

The house was very convenient to the downtown area. There is a nice dog park not to far away and we walked several times to the beach area for exercise. We had fun finding the tree spirits some being close by. The beds were comfortable after all the walking we did and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony. The complex is super quiet during the evening and active during the daytime. There were always someone fishing in the pond and we enjoyed the fitness center, pingpong tables and swings. The heated pool is cut of May 1 and because of the cold start to summer that was quite chilly so we really didn't get to use the pools much but they looked nice. The place was super convenient to the whole island. It was very easy to go wherever we wanted to explore. I would definitely stay here again.

Weekend Trip with Our Dog
The rental process was quick and easy. The property manager was very kind and welcoming in her communication with me. The unit was neat, clean, and quite comfortable. The community is well maintained and close to the beach. We used Massengale Park as our entry point because our dog was with us and enjoyed some time in the shade before hitting the beach. Overall, it was a great visit and I would rent this unit again.

Clean unit and well supplied with all you need during your stay (minus groceries of course). Owners gave good information before our stay about what is there and what we might want to bring. Good communication with owners. We have stayed in this Condo complex several times. First time at this unit. We will be back. Love the location in regards to the Village with shops and restaurants. Only about 1/2 mile from the Village and Pier. Good sidewalks along the street to the Village. Can also take nice walks within the complex around the pond with fountains. Enjoyed sitting on balcony which has a ceiling fan looking out at big trees and pond
