Not worth it!
The door to our room didn’t open nor lock for over a day and they suggested leaving it ajar…until they got new batteries. The waitstaff was friendly and the food was good. However, requested a refund for a day and they haven’t done that- the “studios suite” was so small you could barely sit on the toilet. The AC was outdated- the bathroom didn’t have a fan and the window didn’t open. After staying at the Hollander and the Avalon, and had fine experiences, I will not be going back.

Hugely overrated hotel
I have no idea how this hotel has such good reviews, the rooms are tiny, the air conditioning is like a jet taking off, the noise from the corridor is worse than any other hotel we have ever stopped at, due to the doors slamming and the hotel allowing large groups of guests who seem to be able to run around the hotel carefree.

Historical Gem
This is one of our two favorite hotels in St. Pete. The staff is friendly, professional and always remembers us. It's an older hotel, but it is a gem.
