Nice location
The appt was pretty good. Did not notice during reservation that access was upstairs, not a big deal for us but would have been helpful to know. Its in a older building so there are typical conditions (uneven and squeaky floors; weird layouts; etc) for a place like that. There is limited common area and no dining area, just the living room with two couches. The Shaw neighborhood near the MO Botanical Gardens is a nice location. There is parking in front on the street, which is subject to availability of course, and a reserved spot in back, which was a little tight to access for a larger SUV. You also have to walk to front of building to access the unit.

Okay place for short stay
8 of us stayed here for a 1 day event in the area. Overall, it worked fine as just a place to sleep. I think we would have had to find a new place had we booked for a longer stay. Pros: communication with host was great, Dan always replied to questions/concerns quickly; neighborhood was quiet and close enough to quickly Uber around; Plenty of beds for people to sleep. Cons: very minimal necessities provided—we only had half of the maximum amount of people allowed so it wasn’t a huge deal, but the common spaces are not nearly big enough to support a group of 16; similar to previous review, unit was not clean. More of a suggestion: unless host invests in water filtration system, you will need to bring bottles of water because the tap water was not clear. Something we wish we knew before checking in

Unit not ready for stay
Thoroughly miserable experience. The neighborhood and location was great. But the house had exposed wires, open electrical outlets, it was dirty, and the one TV didn't work. The host did very little to help. I reached out to Vrbo and they did not help either. Very poor and unsafe experience with no help from the host or Vrbo.
