staff was rude and not helpful at all. had to ask for 3 days of our stay for our fridge to be restocked and finally on the 3 day it was taken care of. The worst service I have ever had at a resort and would not recommend nor would not stay at Royalton resort again.

I stayed in room 1123 and the back of the property needs cleaning there were old bottles from water bottles that was littered around.The location is great but seems management is over working the little staff they have available.The food I at at the Caribbean restaurant haven was salty.There need to be more Caribbean style foods on the menu.The chefs needs to be more innovative,lots of the foods are from a can.Expected more fresh island fruits and vegetables.The restaurant that I wanted to go to was always fully booked.I think the kitchens are way too small and not designed to facilitate the capacity of the amount of guess.Management seem to be stressing out staff having a slave like mentality.Staff are also under paid and lack proper training.Just walking down on the beach and seeing how the sandals is managed one can notice the obvious difference

The report is beautiful. The staff is nice but they spend way too much time highlighting themselves and dancing while on duty. They are too informal and many guests commented on how they didn’t feel comfortable because the hype team was too friendly, often flirting with guests and acting inappropriate. This resort is new, but since there seems to be a serious lack of professional supervision and management of the young workers, it has the potential to go downhill in a short time. The other issue was the bars. The bartenders seemed overwhelmed and often for testy. They ran out of supplies almost everyday. It was hard to get the same alcohol at different bars, each day and most people stick to one drink. One of the main reasons to choose an all inclusive is to be able to drink without limits. The rooms were beautiful, beach and pool area was nice. They need to manage staff and supplies better. Also, I booked a boat cruise and when the boat came my name was not there. They overbooked and my wife and I were not able to go.

While I’ve had excellent experiences at other Royalton resorts, my stay at Royalton Chic Antigua was disappointing. Upon arrival, our assigned room had a strong mold smell. Despite booking a king-size bed, we were initially offered only a double-bed room as an alternative. After persistence, we were given a double-bed room for one night with a promise to switch to a king room the next day. Service issues continued throughout our stay. Food service was extremely slow, and drink availability was inconsistent, with staff frequently saying, “unfortunately.” While the food was tasty for an all-inclusive resort, it didn’t make up for the poor overall experience. Some problems might stem from the resort being newly opened, but as paying guests, that’s not an excuse. I can’t recommend staying here at this time. Perhaps with time, operations and staff performance will improve, but currently, it’s not worth the cost or frustration.

Royalton Chic offers misleading room choices. There is a pool view, partial ocean view and ocean view option. We chose the ocean view. When we arrived, we actually had a pool view with a very small sliver of view of the ocean. They argued that they only had one ocean view building that wasn't Diamond Club and it was all partial view which is misleading because there's no real difference between partial ocean view and ocean view. This property primarily caters to Diamond Club members which is unfortunate because there are plenty of other patrons who are valuable and want what they've paid for. The staff tried their best to accommodate and as a result, we were comped a cabana. However, when we arrived on the reservation date for the cabana - it was double booked so we didn't get to enjoy it after all. A mess! I appreciated Selina's help (she's a gem) but in the end we were very dissatisfied with Royalton's presentation of options vs. what was delivered.

This property is beautiful and clean and the staff was friendly but lacked any sense of urgency. The drinks were good when you could get the bartenders to stop talking to each other and acknowledge you . The problem with this property is the dining. Choices are slim and reservations hard to get at convenient times. The lunch food truck serves under cooked meat that I believe made me sick for days. Be cautious of this if you stay here. It is a great property but for the price they charge they need to do better with food options and quality.

We stayed at the Royalton Chic for 6 nights this December and all in all, we were happy. The photos of the resort are exact - the room, the pool, the property amenities all were exactly as we expected and very nice. The downfall for us was the food and at times the service - when we go to all-inclusive resorts we do not expect magnificent food but this really was very lackluster both the buffet and the restaurants. Drinks were ok, my husband was happy with his but I love frozen cocktails and there always seemed to be some type of struggle making them. There are clearly some issues with staffing and organization in the specialty restaurants - we had to leave the Mediterranean restaurant because after 40 minutes no one had even acknowledged us beyond dropping off menus, others claimed to have waited 90 minutes for meals so whilst the buffet food was average, at least you are never waiting? The staff are lovely and friendly, there clearly is just some more training or adjustments to schedules that need to be made. As another example, housekeeping will bang down your door at 8/9am and we weren't given a do not disturb sign to use (we sought one out on the second day!) Antigua is a beautiful place and the resort is right on a private beach with gorgeous water, I just feel they need to work on some of the above mentioned things as this is NOT a cheap hotel so the expectation is a little higher.
