Lacking some essentials
The cleanliness & comfort were met, but lacking basics to make this a spectacular stay. Very dark if arriving in the evening, we struggled for a few minutes to find the lock box, assuming it was by the front door. There was absolutely no lighting when pulling up to property. Several basics missing, not one bath contained a blow dryer or enough hangers to hang your clothes ( Which was essential as there are no dressers in the bedroom) we had 5 hangers in our master bedroom for the 2 of us. No extra, toilet paper, tissues, or garbage bags. We reached out to the owners about the Roku before arrival, as others noted they couldn’t get it to operate. We were basically told it’s self explanatory, did not work upon arrival. We finally figured it out ( Bad cable Block), needs to be replaced. We used our own while there… the other needs to be disposed. This is a rental that is for sale, which is probably the reason for lack of stuff. Also note we were there over the holidays, some form of decoration would have been a nice touch. The Fall decorations were still in place with some gourds that were past their prime. As stated the place is comfortable & clean just lacking easy things to make for better stay.

Great Stay!
My family and I stayed for a beach weekend. It is a beautiful house in a gated community only about 15 minutes from the beach. Everything worked in the house and it was a very pleasant stay!

False advertising
First let me say the house is nice and well maintained. A few things you need to know before booking. 1. Have a Roku account or be prepared to not watch TV and no local news. 2 Forget the grill, doesn't look like it's been used in over 5 years. (When we vacation, we vacation we do not eat out every night so not having a grill is a problem) 3 The garage remote half works. 4 The trash pick-up day is Monday, so be prepared for the smell every time you open the garage door and full cans. These are all minor things but not what you expect for the price. 5 AND THIS IS THE BIG PROBELM! The pictures of the rental show swimming pools, pickle ball, tennis & basketball courts, deck over looking a pond, club house dinning room and other thing in the neighborhood that gives the impression you have use of the facilities. Well, you don't, you will have to drive to 72nd street 15-20 minutes away for a 20x20x20 3-5ft pool to share with a hundred other guest! And you're told there's parking and an overflow lot, well just like the club pools if you don't have the member card or parking sticker you won't be using it. You will pay $20 a day to park on the road. So, the house is nice, but the advertisement makes you think you're getting a lot more than you do and we had three teenagers with us so there's a huge difference in a five- .minute drive to a huge pool and a 20-minute stuck in traffic drive to a small triangle kitty pool. Absolutely NOT worth the money we spent. NOT Worth IT!!

Love St. James Plantation!
House was in St. James and was perfect for our visit! AC didn’t cool in bedroom over attic which was challenging. We never could figure out their Roku TV - I was only hoping to access it for my 88 year old dad so it wasn’t a huge deal.

Very nice and comfortable home
We were three adults staying at the house and only used two bedrooms. Plenty of room. Owner of the property was excellent communicating with us. The house was very comfortable. We arrived and found fruits and vegetables in the fridge for us. We cooked in the kitchen and used the bbq outside. Great sitting areas. Would recommend this property.
