The apartment is in a building called Chy An Porth which means Home by the Bay. The name is well-fitting as the apartment looks over St Ives Bay from the very top of the building and so offers spectacular sea and beach views. The apartment offers all modern comforts and is super well placed to offer you a holiday home that is close to all St Ives' beaches.

There are 2 bedrooms (one twin and one super king, the twin can also be made into a super king also on request - the beds are two 3ft single beds so when made into a super king, it is in width only- and 2 bathrooms with the master bedroom having an en suite shower room, wash basin and WC. There is also a family bathroom with bath, shower over, wash basin and WC. There are TVs in both bedrooms and large velux windows with black out blinds. The veluxes can all be opened in the apartment on warm days to allow a lovely breeze of sea air to fill the space. Please note that there is a single chair that becomes a small bed suitable for a child in the master bedroom and there is a travel cot for an infant. This is to accommodate families with 2 adults and 3 children and an infant. Please do let us know that the single chair bed is required at the stage of booking.

There is an open plan living, dining and kitchen area and this is where the breath-taking sea views can be enjoyed. The kitchen is very well-equipped with NEFF integrated appliances. There is a washer/ dryer in the apartment also. Enjoy a great start to the day with the Nescafe Gusto coffee maker and then a chilled start to your evening with the drinks fridge holding your favourite holiday tipple. SKY HD package is available to guests of Porthia Penthouse including SKY cinema and Netflix on all 3 TVS in the apartment. For the avid gamers in the family, there is an Xbox S Series so log in and play away!

Being within walking distance of St Ives Harbour, it takes 10 minutes at the most on foot to get to the great white sand beaches, the organised boat trips, the amazing food places and a great choice of shops and galleries to visit too. Leave the front door of Porthia Penthouse and you step into the joyful life of St Ives so ideal for friends and small families who like to have everything on their doorstep.

The private parking space for Porthia Penthouse is at the front of the building.

There is free WiFi throughout the house

All bed linen, bath towels and utilities are included in the rate. A travel cot, high chair and changing mat is available at the apartment.

The owners Porthia Penthouse provide four day passes to St Ives Harbour & Spa Hotel which is just across the road from the apartment. These day passes allow four people per day to visit the swimming pool and gym. We advise all guests who book the apartment to book swim sessions in advance of their holiday to avoid disappointment. Also, don't forget to book any beauty or massage treatments well in advance at the Spa too - go on, spoil yourselves! If you want to visit with an extra adult or child, there is an additional charge per session. Please contact the Hotel & Spa directly to enquire about list prices, additional passes and booking swim sessions.

Please note, due to the penthouse apartment being on the top floor, we do not recommend for anyone who struggles to walk stairs.

Wonderful stay in St Ives
This property was amazing. It did not disappoint. There was a wonderful view over Porthminster Beach. This exceptionally clean apartment was 5 star - such attention to detail including a lovely welcome pack. Thank you. Would definitely recommend. The only thing that might be an issue for some people. There is no lift and being the Penthouse on the third floor there are quite a few stairs to climb. The communication with the management company was excellent too.

The stay was great, orange roof stayed in contact. If there was an issue they informed and addressed it right away. The location is excellent and house was tidy. Billie who is part of orange roof always stayed in contact and was polite and very helpful. They gave the cleaners no whom I contacted and checked out at same time. We stripped down our bedding for the cleaner to help them for their next guests whilst it wasn’t necessary it’s polite. The apartment we left as we got it . Will definitely book again Thank you

Wonderful property
Very nice 2BR / 2BA apartment with a great location. Easy to access St Ives via the footpath across the street. Location near the St Ives station gives you convenient access to the rest of Cornwall via train. Apartment is on the third floor of ghe building and there's no lift, so it is a wonderful place to stay if you're fit enough to manage the stairs. We would stay here again without hesitation.
