Harbour View is a smart modern, 2 bed/ 2 bathroom apartment with a well equipped and stylish interior. It has stunning sea and coastal views from the two sets of French doors and from the balcony. It has a dedicated parking space immediately in front of the building. The beach is an easy 5 minute walk with the the shops and restaurants of St Ives town centre only a few more minutes away. Fully redecorated for our 2020 guests and always sparklingly clean.

Previous guests have been kind enough to give us glowing reviews which have often underlined our focus on hygiene and cleanliness. Once we emerge from this dreadful pandemic we look forward to again welcoming guests, old and new, to our two apartments and we assure everyone that our professional cleaning team will pay strict adherence to advice from HMG and the World Health Organisation to ensure a safe and healthy environment for your holiday. We will contact you shortly before you are due to arrive with details of the extra measures we have introduced.

Primrose Court is a lovely Edwardian property originally built to meet the new tourist demand which began with the introduction of the railway. It is in the delightfully named Primrose Valley which runs down the St Ives hillside, ending at Porthminster Beach.

The award-winning Porthminster Beach, with its famous 'gastro' beach cafe, is a very short stroll of perhaps 250m. Tennis courts opposite the house are open to the public from Mon-Fri.

St Ives' tiny railway station is a few minutes walk making it ideal for those who don't want to bring their car. But for those that do, the flat has a dedicated car parking space - essential in St Ives - right outside.

The bus station is also just a short walk and offers a range of local and further afield attractions including Lands End, the Eden Project etc.

The Marine Conservation Society Good Beach Guide 'Recommended 2014' - noted Porthminster's 'excellent water quality'.

'This crescent of golden sand, framed by a glittering bay, has glorious views across to Godrevy Lighthouse, inspiration for Virginia Woolf’s famous novel ‘To the Lighthouse’. With the benefit of the mildest climate in the UK along with waving palm trees and translucent waters, there is a definite tropical feel to the place'.

Lovely Apartment
We stayed as a family of 4 (kids are 9 and 6) and had a great time. The apartment was nice and modern feeling with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a nice sized balcony. The access road is very narrow and I was nervous using it as I have a fairly large car (BMW 5 Series) but managed to use the road without the sensors pinging at me. The apartment has everything you could possibly need and is situated just a 5 minute walk from Porthminster beach and a 15 minute walk from the shops and restaurants in central St Ives. As this is a 2nd floor apartment there are approx 32 steps to ascend which is a challenge with suitcases, however I’m a 15 stone, 46 year old man and i managed without too much difficulty. Elderly people may struggle however. The showers were great, good water pressure and it’s so handy to have a washing machine and dishwasher. I would absolutely return to this apartment in the future and wholeheartedly recommend it.

Great location!
Perfect location for us. Short walk to the beach and into St. Ives. The apartment has everything you need to be comfortable, full kitchen, washing machine, comfortable beds and a balcony you can relax on and watching the ocean, . The hosts were very responsive and a pleasure to work with.

Property on a hill
Lovely apartment. Everything there we needed (a few more teaspoons would have been good). We didn’t appreciate quite how much of a climb it would be, both up the hill and then 35 steps to the flat. We struggled a bit with our cases. Good when you got there though.

St Ives Summer Break
Apartment is clean, bright and spacious, fitted with modern furnishings. From the balcony you can enjoy an excellent view of St Ives and Porthminster Beach. When the sun is shining it’s a great bonus to sit and chill. Location good for us, away from the crowds but close enough to get to the beaches, shops and cafes when we wanted. Host easy to contact and responded quickly. Would recommend staying here:

Lovely apartment in a great location
This is a fantastic property in a lovely, convenient location. It is literally 2 mins walk from the beach and 10 mins walk from town. The only downside is the very steep hill and the steps up to the apartment. For these reasons I wouldn’t recommend this property for nervous drivers or any people with mobility issues. However, aside from that we thought it was great and loved being able to leave the car and walk everywhere.

BEAUTIFUL GETAWAY
The apartment was very clean and had everything you need apart from steak knives. Big hill to get to it and 4 flights of stairs but easily done if no injuries or disability. The beds were soooooo comfortable, I didn't want to get up The whole apartment and hosts were perfect would give 12/10

Fantastic apartment with an amazing view!
What a gem this property was. The apartment was clean, tidy and well equipped for our stay. The check in using the key lock was really straight forward. Location was perfect for us, literally a 2 minute walk on to the beach, 5-8 minutes into the main town. The views are amazing from the balcony and waking up to the sound of the waves crashing on the beach was amazing. The car park and apartment is on a steep hill and there are 4 flights of stairs to reach the apartment front door so if you have issues with mobility this is not the place for you but if you like burning off the beach burger and beer whilst walking back to the apartment then this place is perfect!

Great apartment, perfectly located in St Ives!
We have just returned from a great, end of summer week in St Ives. The apartment was perfect for our party of two adults and two teenagers, with a lovely master ensuite and separate bathroom for the teenagers to get ready! The facilities were very comfortable, modern, bright and clean. There was plenty of hot water to go around after many days at the stunning Porthminster beach, just a stones throw away and gorgeous to see every morning from the apartment balcony. Yes, the parking isn't for the faint hearted, but remember its a luxury in St Ives to park outside your accommodation. The steps up to the apartment will keep you fit and the view from up there is worth it. We have been visiting St Ives for many years, staying in various locations including Carbis Bay. We have to say this apartment has been the best location so far, so central with lovely places to eat close by - thanks so much to Mary & Martin for great communication from beginning to end.

Excellent apartment with great views of St.Ives and the Beach
We had a fantastic week in this apartment, very clean and smart, with large flat screen TV and entertainment. Only a short walk to the beach and to the town so no need to use the car all week. Note that parking is on a very steep gradient and also worth noting that it is a steep walk up the hill and then 4 flights of stairs to the apartment. We had an enjoyable week in this lovely apartment and would recommend

Another Great Holiday
Thank you for making our holiday so special. The apartment was spotless as always and the Cream Tea and Cornish Tea/Coffee was a lovely welcoming treat. The new ensuite is very glamorous and the shower is lovely. We all enjoyed the large screen TV and Netflix. It's nice to have the towels and bed linens changed after the first week. We will be coming back next year!!

We have had an amazing holiday with friends in this wonderful apartment. It is very clean, well equipped and in a great location just minutes from Fore Street and the harbour. The view from the balcony is second to none. I’m sure we will revisit very soon.

Myself, my husband, 2 teenage daughters and 2 shih tzu dogs enjoyed this Easter at Harbour View apartment. The directions provided took us straight to the apartment which was beautiful, spacious and had spectacular views from the patio doors and balcony. It was located at the top of a steep hill and then up quite a few steps to the front door but thats what you expect in St Ives and you can park the car straight outside the property. Great location - at the bottom of the hill is Porthminster Beach and cafe. Dogs are not allowed on this beach at this time of year (Easter to end September) but they are allowed in part of the cafe - which serves great food. The walk from the bottom of the hill into st Ives is flat and has lovely views along the way. A couple of dog beaches in st Ives which our 2 loved and they’re allowed on the others before 8am and after 7pm. St Ives is one of our favourite places to holiday. Lovely beaches, nice little shops and great places to eat. We love St Ives and this apartment was great we would not hesitate to visit again.
