Wales & West Utilities will be carrying out essential gas pipe upgrades and this work is anticipated to be disruptive. There may be temporary disruptions to gas supplies to properties in the area. This will impact accessing the property (near to the property) via car. Wales and West have also shared the work may extend beyond 21/02/25. 5 Bethesda Hill is a wonderful cottage in St Ives that sleeps four in two bedrooms and has two bathrooms. Located on Bethesda Hill, it is superbly positioned for holidays by a beach and within short walking distance of the town and restaurants. From May 1st 2024, guests will have free access to one allocated parking space at St Ives Rugby Club. The parking space can fit a large family car/ SUV. Between Easter to October, St Ives Rugby Club runs a shuttle bus between the car park and Porthmeor Beach for a small fee.

The kitchen (on the ground floor) is handcrafted and well-equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, toaster and Le Creuset hob kettle. There are ample kitchen utensils and crockery and cooking pans for a family to feel home from home. There is an AEG washing machine and dishwasher as well as an under-counter fridge with a freezer compartment. The dining table seats four comfortably on two benches. On the ground floor is one of the bathrooms with a small bath, shower over with rain head, wash basin, towel radiator and wash basin. The living room is on the first floor and has a Smart TV, a very large sofa, a cushioned window seat and an Alexa Bluetooth speaker.

On the top floor, there is a king-size bedroom and a bunk bedroom with a 4ft bed on the bottom bunk and a 3ft top bunk. There is also another bathroom on this floor with a large walk-in shower, WC and wash basin.

1 well-mannered and well-behaved small dog (10kg or less) is allowed. The pet fee is £8 per night. (terms and conditions apply).Please let us know the age, sex and breed when booking. Bed linen and towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels.

What can I say about this place other than it is absolutely wonderful. We stayed for a week in peak season, two adults and two young children. We all immediately felt comfortable and at ease at this home which is a feat with little ones. The size was perfect and everything needed for a week away as a family provided. We adored the bedrooms, perfect for my two (who ended up sharing the bottom park of the bunk with room to spare) and our bedroom was perfect, just what you want for a holiday (the bed was soooo comfortable!). Location couldn’t be better, it really is less than 30seconds to the harbour but still tucked away so you don’t get any of the noise. Less than a couple minutes walk to one of the many beaches close by. I don’t imagine this will be our last visit! Not to mention the cute and super helpful welcome pack we recieved, a lovely touch to the start of our holiday! Thank you so much!

Really loved the property, it was clean, stylishly decorated and had everything we needed. The house felt spacious and homely. The location was perfect for easy access to the town and beaches. Will definitely rebook.
