We have just returned from a wonderful week staying in Nantuat Stables.
Our party consisted of three generations; Grandparents in their 70’s, myself and my husband and our two children aged 11 and 8. The property is absolutely gorgeous and beautifully decorated throughout with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. We are all going to miss the wonderful showers and the huge relaxing bathtub with the most wonderful views!
Sue was a very welcoming, friendly host, she was very prompt to answer any questions I had prior to arrival and was on hand during our stay to answer questions and give helpful advice. Our children fell in love with her gorgeous dog and wanted to bring her home.
The house is situated in a small, quiet village, surrounded by beautiful countryside, views of which can be appreciated from many of the windows in the house), and there is a wonderful pub just metres from the front door serving fabulous food. We ate there on our first and last nights and were warmly greeted on both occasions. The house has a large kitchen with a range cooker if you don’t want to go out to eat, and we also took advantage of using the garden and lovely BBQ/picnic area.
You are ideally situated for many attractions and beautiful beaches; the Lost Gardens of Heligan are just a couple of minutes up the road, and the beaches of Carne, Pendower and Pentewan to name just a few are only a 15-20 minute drive away, as is the lovely seaside village of Gorran Haven where we had the best fish and chips ever!
You are also very close to Mevagissey, as well as St Austell where you can find the major supermarkets and petrol stations.
I would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing break with home comforts.
