We aim to make you feel comfortable and completely at home in our 1860's cottage, which has been renovated throughout to give you a traditional feel of cosiness and quality. The original slate front is one of only two which still exist in the village.
Two separate good size living rooms and a generous size kitchen offer plenty of family living space whatever the weather whilst the sheltered sunny and private garden is a major feature of the cottage- perfect for eating outside, relaxing with a book or sitting out in the evening. The period cast iron fireplace with gas fired coals gives a warm welcome if you are a little chilly whilst central heating warms the whole house.
The cottage is located just above the Harbour but hidden from the crowds at peak times, . A hidden gem offering privacy, yet direct access to the village, harbour and beaches.
Parking for yourselves and your guests is right outside.
Chill out at lunchtime or spend an hour reading in the garden whilst the rest of your party are on the beach, fishing off the harbour or walking the coast path. A two minute walk will allow you to join the rest of the party for lunch with them in the pub.
The stable door at the back opens onto the quiet, private, sunny, slate paved, garden at the back of the cottage. Our cottage has been totally renovated but retains a cottage feel. It has 2 comfortable sized bedrooms, the main one is a double with lovely sea views to greet you when you wake. The other is a generous twin. The cottage perfectly accommodates four and is the ideal place to explore the area on foot, by bus or car.
Feel free to phone for an informal chat before booking as we want you to feel happy about staying in the cottage.

If you are trying to find the property on Google Earth there is no Street View as the roads in and around the harbour are all private and have not been surveyed. On the satellite view the cottage can be found by going to the top end of the harbour, look to the right to see the Shipwreck Centre. There is a road which is at right angles to the harbour running up the right hand side of the Shipwreck Centre and at the end on the opposite side there is a row of cottages on the right and a pair of cottages on the left which on the satellite view looks like a large detached property but is actually a pair of semis. The cottage is the left hand one of these.
