The bed was comfortable. The room was nice. The only thing that I noticed was that they didn’t come in and change out your towels or make the bed other than that it was a pleasant day.

Great lil econotel
Great little econo-hotel. The owner has done a great job renovating with beach theme and old time designs. Very comfortable and quiet. Could use a couple more pillows. Area is awesome, easily walkable. Highly recommend a walk up to the Lions Bridge to see the lights. Lots of good places to eat and drink.

The woman at the front desk was very rude. When I showed up she didn’t greet me but automatically said “did you bring a dog”? I told her yes and it was my service dog. Within minutes of checking in we decided to go for a quick walk over the bridge and my dogs hips hurt so we let him lie down in the room. She came to our room and started to tease my dog and make him bark through the door which he never does (I have video that she took). I decided to immediately check out and did not stay. I went down the street to a different hotel where I was greeted professionally and they had no issue with my service dog and he never barked the entire night. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The woman was very rude and seemed like she was looking to agitate guests to get them to check out. It seemed was the target but I decided to just check out. It was a nice location but I would avoid it due to her customer service.

Excellent value for the money! Easy walk to downtown and dining options. Most importantly the room and bathroom were spotless!!!!! Not a big luxurious room but big enough and comfortable with a cozy beach feel. Bed and pillows comfortable and a good shower. We are planning on it being our go to place on our way to visiting the grandchildren from now on.

Great little hotel & walking distance to a lot!
Great spot! I’ll definitely stay here again. It’s an older property with updated rooms. Even has little refrigerator and microwave. Walking distance to historic downtown.

Okay motel, some pros and cons.
This motel is very near the bridge of lions which we crossed every day to get to historic St. Augustine. If you are in good shape, it is a pleasant walk. There is no elevator in the motel. We stayed on the second floor which was nice because we got a good breeze. The room was never dark because the porch lights were not blocked by the blinds and curtains. I wanted 2 queen beds and thought they were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. My traveling companions mentioned that the rooms were not very clean, especially the shower. There is a little refrigerator and microwave along with a Keurig coffee maker in each room, and the front desk provided bottled waters. There is a really nice homemade, organic restaurant across the street called Soup Coop where we got chili, soups, sourdough bread and beverages every day. The good thing about the location is that it is easy to hop in the car and go to cvs or target, the lighthouse or Anastasia park. The historic district is packed with tourists this time of year, so driving a car into the district is problematic- slow travel and finding a parking spot. When we didn’t feel like waking back to the motel, we Ubered. We actually hired an uber to drive us around after dinner to look at the lights. I’m 73 and had a sprained ankle during the trip which is why I noticed some

This hotel is a no frills but clean accommodations. The property is in a safe area and in walking distance to old town St. Augustine. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Jonathan, the receptionist, escorted me to our room and explained everything (how to work the TV, other amenities). Though an older motel, everything was beautifully restored and tastefully decorated. It was reasonably priced and convenient to everything we wanted to see in St. Augustine. We were very pleased with our stay and will certainly book here the next time we visit St. Augustine. (Jonathan spoke very highly of the new owners.)
