The different listings online had the dog fee at $15 and we were charged $30. Lots of construction around very over priced room. And the desk person wasn't extremely welcoming and was very short with her answers.

I believe this property had been thru the flood in spencer iowa We appreciate that the room was available It was comfortable The breakfast choices were awesome The staff were very helpful for the information we needed

Flooded out hotel
The hotel had been completely flooded out. It would have helped if the property managers would have notified their corporate office that way people didn't have the option of booking a hotel just to find out that it was closed with no power.

Upon entering the building guests are hit by the overwhelming odor that seems to be part chronic mold and part outhouse. The jacuzzi had no functioning jets and was basically a lukewarm bathtub.
