1 King with private bath downstairs plus queen pull out sofa in living room.
1 King and 1 Queen bed upstairs with full bath.

House is in a quiet neighborhood at the end of the dead end street with sand path leading to the Beach just 400 ft away. Area on beach with chaise loungers, chairs, beach umbrella and gas grill all provide. New construction completed in November of 2019. We also have another VRBO property id 1846490 Turtle Shell Cottage that was completed at the same time.
Free Kayak provided for use.
2 Bicycles provided for free.
4 seat golf cart provided for Free !!!!.
Additional 4 seat and 6 seat Golf Cart Available for rent!
House is fully furnished with all linens, bath and beach towels and cooking utensils.
Kayak and bicycles provided for free upon request.
Island is a primarily European based island. It has 6 restaurants, 4 Bars, 1 large very nice grocery store, 2 small grocery Stores, and 3 Liquor Stores.
Island is only 7 miles from closest Airport, North Eleuthera Airport or airport code is ELH. It is a 10 minute taxi ride followed by a 5 minute ferry ride over to to the island. Spanish Wells. Once you provide us with your flight information we will arrange your transportation from the airport to the island with local shuttle company. Cost is only $20/person for both water and land taxi. Once you arrive on island we will meet you and take you to the house and answer any questions you might have and get you all settled in.
In an attempt to make our property more affordable for smaller groups our pricing is based on 1-6 persons. Once correct amount is entered at booking correct price will be calculated. If changes are made to the number of guest home owner must be notified and applicable extra guest fee will have to be paid prior to arrival or access to the property will not be granted.

Beautiful Island Unfriendly Host
Beautiful place but very poor hosting.From the time we landed on the island we were not made to feel welcome.Everything is extra…. No toilet paper, no soap, no shampoo, no drinkable water, no trash bags, etc. Bring everything because unless the previous guest left something behind you will have to go and purchase. Also they charge to pick you up and it is more then if you use another service.Although they charge a very hefty cleaning fee they expect you do most of the cleaning and make sure you are done and gone by 10am and they come and make sure you are gone.But the worst is there are cameras spying on you all over the property.

Nice Cottage in a Great Location!
The house worked really well for our group. We were a group of 6; two parents with adult children and their friends. The proximity to the beach is awesome, and the beach itself is wonderful. We cooked most of our meals at home, and the house is stocked with most of what is needed to cook. Beds are comfortable. It was great to have two bedrooms with king beds! House was clean, and it was great to have the outdoor seating area and outdoor shower. We loved our trip!

WARNING - Volatile Owners
After communicating with the owners via email since December 2023 with first email saying we will be a family of 8-10 members, the owner accused me of being a liar, scam artist and falsifying information. I found his house that sleeps 8 and immediately emailed him to ask his availability for Summer 2024. After picking our dates that would work best for our family, we chose to book via VRBO in order to reserve them quickly and not wait for things to book up. I have 47 emails between the owner and myself, each of them discussing our family of 8, need for transportation for all of us and ideas for excursions to accommodate our group of 8. There was not one mention that I reserved his home wrong on the VRBO site until the night before we arrived for our trip, we were told we owed an additional $490 due to his policy of parties 6 or more needing to pay $35/per person per night. This is not stated any where on his description nor was I trying to occupy more than his listing suggested of 8 adults. After traveling internationally for the past 24 hours, we waited to pay after talking to him and receiving cell service. He instantly became irate, red faced and verbally abusive saying there’s nothing to be discussed, I was a liar, scam artist, etc. He chose to say these things right in front of my husband, my children, my father and brother. He told us to find somewhere else to stay, call VRBO and leave a review. He left 5 adults and 3 children stranded on his porch in a foreign country.

Amazing property and value
The house is newer and well maintained. It has everything you need but food to get you started. The Pinders are very helpful and accommodating. The location is perfect and is a short walk to a quiet beach. There is a floating dock in the water that is the perfect place for your beverages as you soak in the crystal clear water. We will be back.

Great stay!!
Me and my family rented the Green turtle for a week in April. The house was beyond expectations and had plenty of room for the 7 of us. Was very surprised on how big the house was on the inside. It was very clean and modern. The property was well kept and just a short walk to the beach. The free golf cart was an added bonus and was brand new. Definitely will rent again and would recommend to anyone!

A perfect spot!
What a great stay. They were great to communicate with prior to and during our trip. The house is awesome! Super clean, cold air, comfy beds and the location is awesome. The beach is a 1 Kim walk down a cute, private path and it’s gorgeous. We saw turtles, fish, urchins, a couple sharks and kayaked out to an amazing coral head with three huge lobster…a week to early for season:(. We had lots of space in the house for me and three teenagers. The only thing that would have made it perfect is some dish soap and trash bags…but we will stay here or any of Jody’s properties anytime, it was wonderful.

We had the most wonderful time! Spanish Wells was more wonderful then what we had even read and heard about! What a sweet community of people. It was super relaxing and so much fun for my fam. We loved staying at the Green Turtle. It was super nice, very up to date, and had all things that we needed. The owners are wonderful people that went out of their way to make sure we had all we needed and were comfortable. They also offer excursions that I highly recommend (the highlight of our trip). This is not a island to come to if you want night life or shopping BUT if you’re looking for a safe, family oriented, relaxing vacation, it’s for you! We are so thankful for our time there!

The beautiful island paradise of Spanish Wells!!
Our family of 5 had an amazing week in this perfectly located and well maintained home!! The home owners (Jody and Tara) pay attention to every detail so you are able to relax and enjoy this amazing Island. It’s a very short walk to the beautiful beach where you can just sit and enjoy the view, go snorkeling, or go exploring on the kayak! We added on a couple of excursions which were fantastic. We highly recommend the full day trip to swim with turtles and pigs, swing at a sandbar, and hang out with some stingrays. It was awesome! The half day of deep sea fishing was also a great time! We highly recommend this property and would love to return at some point!! Cheers!!

Absolutely Amazing
This place was amazing. Let alone that it was on a gorgeous island with very friendly community, but it was a very short walk to the beach. We had an amazing week there. The hosts were very responsive and even checked in to make sure we were enjoying ourselves or needed anything. They provided multiple options for groceries, meals, places to visit, rentals, and such. We cannot express just how much we enjoyed our visit and how amazing everyone was.

We had a great time in Spanish Wells. The Green Turtle Cottage was clean, had everything we needed, and was was a short walk to the beach. The property owners, Jody and Tara, were friendly and helpful. They checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed. They even brought us fresh baked muffins on our last day. Flawless cottage, exceptional customer service.
Spanish Wells was a quirky choice for a vacation spot-off the beaten path and without big water slides or fancy dining options. Once you’ve decided to make SW your destination? Do yourself a favor and book a cottage with Tara and Jody Pinder. The house is pristine. A thoughtful design and quality furnishings made it feel not-like-a-rental. The walk to the beach is about 2 minutes. The golf cart, beach chairs, beach towels, leftover sunscreen, drink making water (from previous renters), tin foil, spices, etc. helped immensely and fostered a sense of ‘paying it forward’, which felt good and frankly made sense on an island where most goods are shipped in weekly. Our emails (where can we rent snorkels? We are having trouble with the Wi-Fi!) were replied to within minutes *or* one of the proprietors just showed up on our porch in person! Jody and Tara know everyone on the island. The charter they run was perfectly tailored to our needs. And their desire to ensure we enjoyed ourselves was apparent constantly. In other words, when you book the Green Turtle cottage, you’re procuring a great rental AND an attentive host. It’s the VRBO dream!
