Beautiful
Amanda and Ian’s place is truly beautiful with its ocean blue decor, so appropriate for a seaside city. I was welcomed with some food basics and the assurance of the availability of laundry detergent. They were extremely responsive to all my questions and rescued me when a grocery delivery went awry. The place is within walking distance of the University of Southampton in a quiet neighborhood. I can’t recommend this lovely place highly enough. *Please note that those with physical limitations may struggle a bit with the steps to the upstairs bedroom and bathroom and getting in and out of the tub/shower. But other than that, the Lighthouse was truly, truly lovely. Amanda and Ian are amazing hosts with a true gift of hospitality!

Fabulous little property!
We had a lovely break at the Lighthouse last weekend. Beautifully presented, thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed and plenty of storage space for a longer stay. The breakfast essentials and chilled drinks were a lovely touch - thank you! Super-clean and tidy and located in a lovely quiet road. Hope to be back for a return visit when we are next in the area.

Wonderful hosts and home
Our hosts were great communicators, helpful, and so friendly. We have never seen such an effective and efficient use of space as this lovely home. Perfect location for us, easy to get to, off street parking, quiet and so very well equipped. Thank you for the lovely welcome basket! We will definitely be booking with Ian and Amanda again.
