South West Rocks is situated only a short drive off the Pacific Highway between Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie. South West Rocks is a beautiful seaside holiday village that is home to the best beaches and scenic views on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales.

The crystal clear waters of Trial Bay or Horseshoe Bay, are ideal swimming for the family with small children. For the more experienced surfers the beaches to visit include Smoky Cape Beach, The Gap and Little Bay.

If you are feeling energetic you can hire catamarans, windsurfers, surf skis, stand-up paddle boards, pushbikes, diving equipment, small fishing boats or hire a fishing charter to go deep sea fishing.

If you would like to just relax, you can lay on one of our beautiful beaches or you can fish the banks of the Macleay River or any of our pristine beaches, as South West Rocks is renowned as one of the best fishing spots on the east coast.

The historic Trial Bay Gaol, Smoky Cape Lighthouse, and the walking trails through the Arakoon State Recreation Park are just a few of the natural attractions on offer. Explore the Rocky headlands, unspoiled beaches or just sit back and enjoy spectacular scenery around you.

Our sub-tropical climate has mild winters and moderate summers, offering crystal clear waters in which to swim, making South West Rocks a beautiful holiday destination all year round.

Tired property in great location. Needs some decent furniture on the verandah. Couch covers are worn and dirty,needs recovering Need decent small frying pan and a larger saucepan so it’s possible to cook for families Crockery and cutlery are in short supply No bedside lamps anywhere in the apartment Was not clean on arrival

Location excellent and size of apartment very good with all amenities available.Outside balcony needs bit of clean and bbq would have been handy but these are minor problems and I would recommend this place to anyone and would stay here again if opportunities occur.

Good location but could be better
Our stay was enjoyable, the unit is in a great location. I felt like small improvements could be made to improve the stay - the floor felt dirty, the bbq didn’t work it would have been great if there was an extra roll of toilet paper and some dishwashing liquid and bin liners. Just small things that help you to keep the place clean and tidy as you go. In saying this, we had great views and the place is very spacious. Great for families and couples.
