Strafford and its neighboring towns in Vermont and New Hampshire have much to offer. Strafford hosts summer concerts on The Green beneath the iconic Town House built in 1799 and the Justin Morrill Homestead is well worth a visit. Of special note is in mid-September when the town adjacent to Strafford hosts the famous Tunbridge World’s Fair, which has been running for over 150 years. Among the many experiences easily accessed from Strafford are Northern Stage, Opera North, Pentangle Arts, VINS, Billings Farm, Dartmouth’s Hopkins Center and Hood Museum, golf courses, artisan studios, marvelous farmers markets, farm stands and shops, and restaurants.
