We arrived at around 7:15pm, but the door of the reception was closed! And they even didn't accept us to have the dinner at its restaurant, the staff said the lastest reservation time for the dinner was at 6:45! We stayed at a room, not a cottage, we can hear the people who stayed next room, talking clearly just as they were sleeping beside you, it is not private at all!

Enjoyable.
This was a nice stay after camping nearby. We enjoyed the waterfront and the restaurant.
It is a great place. It's about 20 mins to Algonquin Park and is surrounded by the great view. To be honest, I love the lake which is in front of the cabin.
Nice quiet place, the staff was very nice. Room was rustic but clean and well equipped. Overall it was a classic cabin experience. Price was on the high side.
Wonderfully situated at beautiful lake, close to Algonquin park. Excellent restaurant, charming, well-equipped cottages. Free kayaking and canoeing, ideal for kids aged 6+
This lodge is the perfect get away retreat in the heart of nature. The cabins and rooms are very comfortable and the staff is extremely friendly, professional and good at their jobs. The dinning room staff and cook are amazing. This is the perfect spot for a beautiful escape from the business of life to relax on beautiful Lake Spectacle. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great relaxing time in the gorgeous heart of nature.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, restaurant with good food. Nice beach area with lots of canoes and kayaks. Lodge looked dated but comfortable.
The front desk was very friendly. The bed was uncomfortable. There were no toiletries provided not even a bar of soap. No Wi-Fi in the room only inside main building.
Just by the lake, great employee, great place. the night remind me of my childhood.

Specatcular Spectacle Lake
Very relaxing..a lovley spot for a tranquil getaway. Friendly service..everyone was very accommodating and friendly. Lots to do on this lovley little lake..kayaks, canoes, paddle boats, great swimming. Trails nearby and quiet beauty. We ate supper one night in the restaurant and the food and service were both very good. Excellent value.
Driving in on the 1 km road, off Hwy 60, was like going back in time. I had been here about 14 years prior and it all looked just as I remembered it.
The food was excellent and it was so peaceful canoeing on the lake and sitting in front of our cabin later in the evening.
I would definitely go back...maybe not waiting another 14 years!
Price was way too high for quality of room although beach was excellent. Glasses were dirty..shower was smallest ive ever seen..no housekeeping..no shampoo etc...no dresser or closet...frige froze everything. Staff were great though! Expedia quoted rates for single person. Price was higher when we got there
