Villa Souraïde is a peaceful retreat in the lush Pays Basque, nestled in landscaped gardens with views of the Pyrénées. This half-timbered home blends traditional charm with contemporary elegance, thanks to a skillful renovation. Conveniently close to local shops and a village restaurant, it offers a spacious, open-plan living area over three levels. Three bedrooms are on the ground floor, while the first floor is dedicated to a luxurious master suite, with an adjacent playroom for children and a small office. Outside, the villa features beautiful gardens and a large infinity pool with sun and shade seating options. If you want to make your trip even more special, a chef can be arranged (pre-booking is essential, not included in villa cost).

Villa Souraïde enjoys a prime location near the Basque village of Souraïde, with basic shops, a few restaurants, and a quiet golf course just 3 km away. The spa town of Cambo-les-Bains, a 10-minute drive, offers more dining, shopping, and spa options, as well as the Villa Arnanga, the former home of *Cyrano de Bergerac* author Edmond Rostand. The coastal resorts of Biarritz and St-Jean-de-Luz are just a 30-minute drive.

For day trips, Biarritz combines sophistication, surf culture, and family attractions, while St-Jean-de-Luz is famed for Basque cuisine, cultural events, and beaches. Visitors can tour picturesque Basque villages like Ascain, Ainhoa, and Espelette or cross into Spain to explore Hondarrabia, San Sebastian, and Bilbao’s Guggenheim Museum. Villa Souraïde’s ground floor includes an open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area with a fireplace, TV, and terrace access, plus a fully-equipped kitchen. This level also has a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower and WC, a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom (no WC), a twin bedroom with an en-suite shower and WC, a home office with seating, and an additional WC. The first floor hosts the master bedroom with a queen-size bed, TV, en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi, and a WC. The lower floor offers leisure amenities, including a home cinema, bar, pool table, shower and WC, wine cellar, and utility room with laundry facilities.
