Ski-in, easy walk to ski base! Lichenhearth ski-in condo, located next door to the Snowmass Base Village. Easy, 2 minute walk to the ski lift and gondola across the backyard next to our lovely pool and hot tub area, no streets to cross! Ski-in to the side door of our condo. The Base Village has the Sky Cab (affectionately known as Skittles), Village Express Lift, Elk Camp Gondola and Treehouse Kids’ Adventure Center.
You will have the best of both worlds, being near the heart of the Base Village, which is filled with shops, restaurants and a tiny grocery store or hop on the free Sky Cab to be whisked away to the Snowmass Mall for even more shops and restaurants. There is also a lovely trail meandering amongst the condos, between the Base Village and Snowmass Mall (Upper Village) where you will see trees, bushes, flowers, and deer on occasion.
Fresh remodel and completely refurnished with new carpet and paint, reclaimed wood accents on tile flooring, handcrafted knotty alder king bedroom set, American Leather queen sofa (the Cadillac of sofa sleepers with an elite, proper mattress; no bars, no springs). Fairfield Townsend Bistro table, countertop height, and Amisco, Ronny swivel stools. Everything in the condo is brand new.
The Cathedral ceiling and deck bring in plenty of sunshine and allow you to enjoy the tree filled, peaceful backyard. We have even seen a few deer wander past our deck!
Living nearby in Golden, Colorado we spend a lot of time at our condo and we're sure you'll feel right at home. To name a few of the luxuries, we have robes, fluffy towels, 8 pillows, and nice sheets. The condo is fully equipped for cooking with everything from a crock pot to a fondue pot, including Wusthof knives, All-Clad 13-Piece Cookware Set, Blendtech blender, and a Bosch dishwasher for cleanup. As one of our guests said, a chef’s kitchen! We try to keep extra items stocked such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, laundry detergent, tea, olive oil, and spices just to name a few items. Plus we have a ski rack inside the condo and a bike/ski room on the ground floor.
The Lichenhearth complex itself is delightful. We prefer smaller complexes (less than 40 units at the Lichenhearth). The Lichenhearth has two buildings with a pool and hot tub located outside between them. Looking at the exterior of the buildings, you will feel as if you are in the alps. Filled with charm! From our condo, you can see a glimpse of Hanging Valley Wall in the distance, near the ski mountain top. The view from the hot tub is spectacular as you look at the Snowmass ski mountains!
Other items we really enjoy, electric fireplace, washer/dryer in the condo, BBQ on deck, heated streets on Carriage Way prior to turning into the Lichenhearth driveway, covered/assigned parking (88”h x 110”w) attached to building (no snow or rain between your car and our front door) near elevator even though there are only two floors (located on top floor).
