Exterior sign not lit up should have been our first red flag. Able to check in quick but hotel in general needed some updates and TLC. Fixtures in bathroom had begun to rust that carried to towels and overall cleanliness seemed at a minimal standard. We light bulbs missing from fixtures. Beds were comfortable and slept well until morning when spotted a large bug that resembled a bed bug on comforter sheet
Called from front desk (as no one present) who sounded surprised and noticed it was the same person from the night before came, immediately spraying around my bed but not my niece’s bed and swapped our rooms right away. Next room was slightly better but my niece noticed a bug running around in shower curtain seam and became uncomfortable. When talking to desk second time, staff became defensive and accusative. They came in and changed out shower curtain but said they would not move us or refund us any portion of our three night stay we booked. We left and found a different hotel in another town further away.
My wife has numerous bites from bed bugs. We left a dead one on the sheet in one of the beds in the room. (I have a picture of it). Several things were “Out of Order”, There was no breakfast or anyone staffing the front office when we left in the morning. Will not stay in a Super 8 again. I would have demanded my money back, but I paid through Expedia? I will not use Expedia again, w/o some compensation or incentive for doing so.
towels very thin and frayed. Door did not have the extra security latch. when returned to hotel late we did not have to use our key to get in as door was not locked. Breakfast had small pastries that were purchased at a grocery store.
For $160/night I would have expected a much nicer stay.
The hotel didn’t have our reservation through Expedia. They had a room available, but charged me Way more than what was listed on Expedia. The room was very outdated, dirty, dark, and smelled like smoke, despite being a smoke free room. The pictures in the listing are extremely misleading. And we were rudely rushed out at 10:30 even though checkout was 11:00. Definitely will Not stay here again.
Do not stay at this property. It is not cared for. Pool is closed with toys in it. The meeting room looks like the family is living in it. The staff is rude. The room is the worst I have ever stayed in. Across the street is a motel. Owned by retired couple should have stayed there. Everyone in town even says the motel is better than this property. The staff at the hotel do not care about you or your stay.
The manager screamed and yelled in my face the night after my wedding. I’m very pregnant as well. We put in our reservation that we had pets and he said that we didn’t tell the desk so we had to pay a $200 fee. When I tried to explain that we did inform them as it was in our reservation he screamed and yelled at me in my face and threatened to call the police on me. The Wi-Fi was horrible and the bedspread has stains everywhere as well.
Hotel is in terrible condition. Leaky stool and sink. Carpet torn. Entrance is really bad and not taken care of. Swim pool boarded up. Weeds everywhere. Lawn not mowed.
Clerk at desk very nice.
Continental breakfast so sad. Scary to even sit in lobby. Needs state inspection.
Never stay there again. We were there for our mothers funeral.
Stains/holes in bedspread, dishonest staff who double charged me, then refunded when I called my credit card company. Broken lock on room door, no housekeeping for 3 days of my 4 day stay (no towels, no toiletry items, no toilet paper, etc). Room was dirty, crumbs in microwave. The outside door to the hotel was not locked. Exposed waterpipes in bathroom. Dirty hallway/entryways. They stole my personal soap on the one day that they brought me new towels. Garbage was littered all around the outside of the property.

Keycards always took at least 4 tries…worn out? Carpet is a little frayed in heavy traffic areas, juice machine out of order, overall we had a pleasant stay.

was disappointed in the service, was having issues with the bathroom stool. Reported it a couple of times and no response. Room service was early and we were not ready asked to come back and they never did. Seemed not interested in the customer. they were low on clients. and it was the first of the week.
The stool plugged and the sink in the bathroom ran down very slow

Staff helpful. Room didnt lock the whole time. Mentioned it to front desk. Said they fix it . It still didnt lock and was to exhausted to bother with it anymore after working allday. Need to still discuss the discrepency on the room fees and will be doi g that here this week sometime. Alll n all very quiet good locatation, friendly staff, close to work site.

Walked in to find out price of room for the night. Was $24 more than online. Booked online room in lobby while deskman was watching. I heard a ding on his computer notifying him of another room being booked. I asked if that was my booking. He said yes and continued to book me in. Only problem was, he was booking me into another room and charging me double. I didn't notice this till I got to the room and checked my account. I went back downstairs to check it because mistakes can be made. I was told to cancel the expedia reservation and keep his higher priced room. I was too wiped out to argue that late at night, so I waited till morning to hopefully find someone who cared. I didn't find anyone. Same guy from the night before said he would finally cancel his room and reimburse my charge. Did get it, but seemed like they were hoping I wouldn't notice.
