Staff were absolutely lovely. First room was horrible but they moved me when requested. Could not walk beside bed and aircon terrible. Other than that good. MRT is quite a walk in the heat. The pool has no steps so was a bit hard to get in and out of if you have any mobility issues. I would say you have a 300 - 400m walk to food.

Amazing staff service and care. I had to be admitted to hospital during my stay. The staff were most helpful and supportive. Contacted the ambulance for us. They left fruit basket and kind note for me upon my return. Certainly way above my expectations.

Our room was just the right size for 2 people. The kitchenette was what we needed. The towels were a little 'old' but they did the job. Having access to free coffee and tea in the communal areas was a bonus.

Bad start but overall good stay
I had an overall okay stay. The reception staff for the first 2 days were hopeless. I asked one on the second day to fixed the safe as it has ran out of battery and nothing was done when I got back in the evening. I went to the reception again to ask if it has been looked at and the evening staff said it was overlooked and apologised. I then go on to asked about the night lights over the head of the bed and whether I could switch it off. Staff apparently said yes at the staff and said that the switch was beside the bed which was incorrect. He then mentioned that it could not be turned off as it acts as a low beam night light. Which again was wrong. I tried to sleep two nights with the lights on which I didn't get any sleep out of. The following morning I was lucky to bump into the housekeepers. They manage to get my safe sorted and the maintenance guy was quick to sort out the issues. This include the light switches of the bed which is hidden behind the heavy bedframe. Otherwise, my stay was great. Didn't really use much of the facilities as the location of the service apartment provided a variety of eateries, malls and touristy locations.

We had a bigger room that gave greater flexibility regarding self catering but there are shared kitchen and laundry facilities on each floor if in the smaller rooms. a/c also very good and excellent shower facilities

Very good option for exploring Singapore and very good value for money. If you don’t need all the expenses of other hotel accommodations in Singapore, or prefer some more independence like cooking/preparing your own food, this is a good option. Would stay again.
