Les photos de l'annonce ne reflètent pas la réalité. Outre l'absence de décoration, la propreté de la maison laisse vraiment à désirer. La salle de bain au rez-de-chaussée est à la limite de l'insalubrité, et la cuisine n'en parlons même pas... Il y a des fourmis, des assiettes cassées, des placards et un four sales. Le WC à l'étage est entartré. La télé, qui est là uniquement pour la décoration, est fissurée, le canapé sorti d'une grange est sale et les baies vitrées sont inutilisables. Seuls les fans d'Amityville pourraient y trouver leur compte... L'hôte loue uniquement pour des raisons financières en attendant de vendre la maison, ce qui relève du pur amateurisme.
