"This property sustained significant damage from the hurricanes but they are expeditiously making all necessary repairs and improvements. The property is probably absolutely beautiful when the foliage and landscaping is in tact. The pathway from our specialty sun deck second-floor unit was a quick super short walk to the magnificent beach. On-site, office staff is very, very friendly and accommodating. The studio was adorable and tastefully decorated ~ appeared to be new and excellent condition. It was about a 4 mile walk down the gorgeous beach to Siesta Key Village, where we found a few decent restaurants. Not too impressed with the “village”. Other than that, there are no nice restaurants within walking distance that we found but the trolley stop is just across the street. There is a pizza place across the street as well as a breakfast place so we did grab some takeout . No ambience and either of them but Turtles Restaurant on Sarasota Bay was a quick five minute drive away and that was fantastic! We will definitely return after repairs are completed.
