This apartment smells like old cigarette smoke. It gave me a migraine. Now all our clothes, bags, shoes, everything smells even though we have left.
Furthermore, the apartment is very noisy. There is constant motorcycle and car noise from the street outside (even though it's a tiny street, still plenty of traffic day and night) and you can hear people talking in the streets as if they are in your bedroom.
The noise and smell were so bad we left two nights early because we just couldn't take it anymore.
I continued to try and contact the property manager to discuss the broken lights, smell, etc and they didn't write back or didn't answer my questions. Unfortunately, the Siena Apartment property management company I think manages many properties in town like this one so you may be stuck with them if you want to stay in the old town.
Usually I am a very flexible person, this is the first time I have given a poor review of a property like this. It was just a shame that this apartment soured my family's experience of the town of Siena which was otherwise so charming that we had to leave and pay out of pocket for a different place to stay.
Save yourself some heartache and stay somewhere else.
