Dear Andy, I'm really sorry your stay was not perfect. I want to be very honest. This is an old building. The new rooms, the Executive, are built with all the new tecnologies, including soundproofing walls. All the other rooms also have soundproofing windows but not state-of-the-art like the others. Fortunately noise is very subjective and most of our guests don't have problems. It would be wonderful if we could build all the rooms again at once but it's not possible. We improve more and more, renewing some rooms each year and selling different room levels that guests can choose according to their needs. Regarding Air Conditioning please note that in Italy it's possible to switch it on starting form the 1st of May, not because of the hotel, but because of the Italian law. We are ready! Just waiting for that date! I really hope we can welcome you again after the 1st of May to offer you a perfect stay. Kindest regards, Federica Fiochi, Hotel Manager
