Charming house for 2-5 people, located on the fringes of the hamlet of Toiano, 14 km from Siena and 3 km from the village of Sovicille. Carefully furnished and refurbished according pure regional style, it is located in a beautiful panoramic position. It is located on two floors and comprises a spacious kitchen, dining room and living room with double sofa bed, a double room with double bed or two twin beds (on request), a bathroom with shower and bathtub. Extra bed in the room. The house also has a nice porch with patio furniture, where the view of the hills is beautiful, also a spacious garden, very well kept (500 mc) and a barbecue. Beautiful private pool in a corner of the garden. WiFi Internet access.

Lovely rural home.
Pros: Very pretty home, with a beautiful view! Very quiet. Fully equipped kitchen was great. We enjoyed the pool and taking walks along the road. The property manager was communicative and very patient with all our questions and booking changes as we planned our trip. Washing machine, laundry soap, basket, and rack were very much appreciated. Cons: Directions to the property were very difficult to follow. 20 minute drive from Siena (which, to be fair, we knew when we booked it). The beds are not comfortable. Narrow driveway with low wall that is not visible when entering the property and which damaged our rental vehicle. Screens and screen door have gaps which allow mosquitoes inside.

Great Tuscany getaway with a spectacular view and pool!
The property was in a beautiful location of Tuscany with great local restaurants and a great little bar off the main road. The house was very clean and the pool was a great addition especially since it was so hot on our stay. I traveled with 3 other people, towels were clean and new, the beds were a 6/10 in terms of comfort not including the pull out bed which made noise when you rolled over on it, but over all a good sleep. The property owner was wonderful, she came to check in on us to see if we needed anything and left us a list of things to do in the area and recommended local places to eat for an affordable price. The grocery store was about a 10-15min drive away which had everything you could need and the kitchen had everything that we needed, toaster, espresso press, pots, pans, cutlery, fridge, gas stove, plates. Good water pressure for showers. Bring extra toilet paper depending on length of stay. Would highly recommend this villa for a stay in the Tuscan region.

Beautiful villa in a quiet setting
My girlfriend and I had a great time at this house. Conveniently located close to Sienna, so that we could drive to all the Tuscan attractions. The house is beautiful, with all amenities we wanted. The owner is a very sweet, happy lady and she ensured that we had everything we needed. Special thanks to her friend Marzia, who was quick to respond to any queries in English and she gave us a nice tour of the house when we arrived too. We recommend this house. Anil

Charming Farmhouse
This rental oozes charm. The location is ideal for exploring Sienna and the surrounding areas. The road into the property is a bit rough and be careful on the right side of the drive...there is a rock that can cause tire damage. Our host was enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. Her lack of english was not usually a problem with a bit of assistance from google translate. We loved this property and it was more than spacious for our needs.

An unloved holiday home.
Geographical location is excellent for touring Tuscany, but sadly the facilities are a bit tired. Bathroom is looking rather sad now, with suspect plumbing and taped up shower screen. Not ideal for self catering, just two badly mis-matched mugs and just 3 teaspoons is not a good start and no kettle is provided. The towels provided are very thin and barely do the job they are supposed to. In short more love and care is required which is a shame as Marzia was so helpful when we needed to take our dogs to the local vets. It would not take much time and money to turn this into a little gem as there is an excellent holiday home waiting to be realised.

Rustic, private and very charming
We stayed at this house with our 6 month old baby and were very well catered for. A cot and high chair were provided and due to the house being built on top of a cave, the bedroom (ground floor) stayed nice and cool for the little one. It has shutters to keep even the tiniest bit of light out but mesh screens to stop the insects if you want to let the light in. The kitchen is on the first floor and due to the grounds being split, you can access the property both ways. It is extremely private with the most beautiful gardens which stretch out in all directions. The pool was kept clean and the view of a real scenic Italy is possible from inside it. We were within an hour of many great locations to drive to and were provided with some suggestions on arrival which we used. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need, as were the bathroom and outdoor areas. We brought the baby cam which worked on their free WIFI so were able to sit outside on the night time and relax. The owner lives on the other side of the property but never 'bothered' us, only came to make sure we were settled. We arrived much later than expected and felt awful but she welcomed us with open arms (quite literally) and gave the baby a hug. Nice touch. There is a local supermarket which is fairly big and several places to eat nearby. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone really, young, old, with kids however it is much more suited to anyone who likes to be private and wants to relax.

Sehr schöne und ruhige Lage
Wir waren für 6 Nächte hier und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es ist ein typisches toskanisches Steinhaus mit großen Garten. Alles wird von Tiziana selbst gepflegt. Sie ist dabei sehr diskret. Eines Morgens hatten wir Tomaten und Basilikum aus ihrem Garten vor der Tür stehen :-) Der Pool war für uns das Highlight. Leider hatten wir sehr viele Mücken und Wespen dort, sodass wir den Außenbereich nur begrenzt nutzen konnten. Autanspray und Citronellakerzen haben hier etwas geholfen. Die Lage ist super. Der Pool

Wunderschönes Haus mit fantastischem Garten
Das Haus liegt sehr idyllisch, allerdings sehr einsam, so dass man fürs Einkaufen schon immer das Auto braucht. Hat uns aber nicht gestört. Der Garten ist herrlich und bietet verschiedenste Möglichkeiten zur Entspannung, vor allem der Pool war ein Highlight für uns. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich, kümmert sich jeden Tag um Pool und Garten und legt einem auch mal frische Tomaten oder eine Melone vor die Türe. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist einfach, aber es ist alles da, was man braucht. Abgesehen von den üblen Mücken war es ein rundum schöner Aufenthalt.

Kleines gemütliches Steinhäuschen in verschlafenem Tal
Wir waren zu viert dort, zu zweit wäre die Schlafsituation perfekt, zu viert ist es dann doch etwas eng und die Matratzen waren leider Nix für unsere Rücken… Der Garten ist märchenhaft schön, wir haben die Rosen und Kräuter in voller Blüte erlebt, alles riecht nach Thymian, Rosmarin und Dill (wächst dort überall wild). Der Pool ist für die Kinder perfekt, für Erwachsene zu klein um durchzuschwimmen. Es ist toll bei Sonnenauf- und Untergang in das grüne Tal zu schauen und sich wegzuträumen. Siena ist ganz in der Nähe Abend- und Eisessen in der Innenstadt superteuer -Achtung- lieber ein bisschen außerhalb…. Empfehlung: in grilli moro (sooo leckeres Fleisch) und Ponte allo Spino gleich in der Nähe (alles unfassbar lecker, bester Tiramisu total freundliche Gastgeber). Danke an Titziana, sie ist total herzlich und arbeitet täglich im Garten und kümmert sich um das gesamte Anwesen.

Vraiment une belle maison en pierre, un jardin magnifique et idéalement placé pour visiter Sienne
Nous n'avons pas mis 5 étoiles pour la propreté car on a constaté quelques restes de poussière mais rien de grave. Nous avons séjourné début novembre avec parfois peu de soleil et le logement est assez sombre. A noter que la chambre communique avec la cuisine/salon/couchage (mezzanine).

Einfach herrlich
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im September sehr genossen. Es gibt einen schönen,großen Garten mit viel Privatsphäre und einen sehr gut gepflegten Pool. Auch innen findet man alles was man braucht. Es ist sehr sauber und mit schönen Holzmöbeln eingerichtet. Wanderwege des italienischen Alpenvereins führen direkt am Haus vorbei und auch für Ausflüge in die umliegenden Städte ist die Lage ideal. Tiziana ist sehr freundlich und liebenswert. Zur Begrüßung haben wir sehr gute Tomaten aus ihrem Garten bekommen. Alles in allem haben wir einen herrlichen Urlaub verbracht, der keine Wünsche offen ließ.
