The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was clean. The location is central me convenient for the station. The check in process was overly complicated with having to download an app, text the owner, wait for a response, put the received code into the app… all to be able to use your phone as a key. Why they couldn’t just give us a key fob I don’t know. While the sink design is water saving, it is far too small to use properly to was and brush teeth with. There are only tiny surfaces to put things on in the room, and while there was a kettle it was in a very awkward place. The mattress was poor as the springs were poking through making it uncomfortable. All in all very poor for £72 and I would not ho back.

Would have been great if pub had closed at midnight as advertised. Instead there was music an noise till 1.30 and I lost out on sleep.

The bedtoom was very clean but just a but to noisy from the pub downstairs. Siperb shower and room spotlessly clean. The owner was great with problem we had with tv but jydt to noisy for us.

Undergoing refurb so very dusty. Rooms are nice and modern and spacious. Was concerned about only being able to open room with our phone ? What would be the back up if our phones died? No milk left for me the tea and coffee station which was disappointing. Good location and good price

States two rooms for a family room we only got one bedroom and states it sleeps 4 bur the futon bed was too small and big enough for a child . Place is under refurbishment but not stated before you book . Room was very dusty from work being carried out . Could not open window for fresh air . Nice and modern but definitely was not ready due to the amount of dust . Being woken up at 7am by drilling and banging from builders in the same building so we had to get up and leave for 8.30. Workers knocking our door at 8am about plumping . Felt really restless and stress leaving the building . Our suitcases was covered in white dust from the floors and our clothes . Apart from that I think once the work has been done it will be a lovely place to stay and convenient for the train station but not if you are looking to be woken up so early when check out was not until 11:30. We paid £85 and got £28 back refund so at least that’s something
