Kings Barn is a lovely barn conversion which has been thoughtfully renovated in 2022 by the owner and offers guests space and comfort. Although it has retained some of its traditional features, it also has a modern and contemporary feel. On the ground floor is a living room with comfortable seating, Smart TV and patio doors which lead to the side of the property, a further reception room, again with comfortable seating and a Smart TV, a well-equipped kitchen/dining room and a utility room. Also on the ground floor are two of the bedrooms and the family bathroom. Upstairs are a further three bedrooms, accommodating up to 10 guests. Outside in the courtyard, you will find a garden room/office complete with Wi-Fi.
Being close to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ironbridge, the Royal Air Force Museum in Cosford, Weston Park, the historic town of Shrewsbury, the beautiful Shropshire Hills and many National Trust and English Heritage sites, there is plenty to do. For those looking for a day out shopping, Shrewsbury town is half an hour away. Cannock Chase, one of England’s finest natural landscapes famous for its scenery, wildlife and rich history, is only half an hour away. It offers walking, cycling and horse riding in a superb setting, and in August 2022 was the venue for the Commonwealth Games cross-country mountain bike racingShropshire has an array of outdoor activities on offer including kayaking, canoeing, cycling, walking, gliding, golf, fishing and horse racing. The area is never short of places to visit with a plethora of castles, abbeys, farms, museums, discovery centres, gardens, parks and historic houses.

Family stay
The barn is in a great location, easy to find, beautifully laid out with everything you’d need for an amazing stay. Clean, tidy and the hosts were really helpful.
Stayed 3 nights in May 2023
