The Space

Spacious four bedroom cabin in a small Shaver Lake community with well maintained paved roads, easy to access in any season! Upstairs, the master bedroom features a luxurious king-sized bed and attached bathroom with soaking tub. There are three more spacious bedrooms with beautiful views: one with a king bed, another with a full bed, and the other with two twin/full bunkbeds. On the main level, the living room is the perfect space for gathering. Stream your favorite shows on the Smart TV or just unplug and enjoy the gorgeous views from the deck overlooking forest. The living room is open to the dining area and well-appointed kitchen- the perfect space to gather.

Guest Access

Guests have access to the whole cabin, deck space, and street parking.  The garage is also used as a game room.  Additional parking is located just a short walk away. Free WiFi, fresh linens and towels, fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer are available. Guests have access to the community which includes a dumpster for trash, walking trails, and plenty of space in the woods to explore, sled, hike, and rock climb. Guests may use their own streaming sites to watch TV, or use a provided Netflix account.  Are you traveling for a church, company, or group retreat? There are other cabins within walking distance to this one available to rent in conjunction.  Let us know if you're interested and we'll help you coordinate your group's stay.

Neighborhood

Located right off Tollhouse Road, this cabin is very easy to access in any season. The Sierra Pines neighborhood is a community of recently built grand log cabins with modern amenities. This cabin is special because it backs up to open forest ground, allowing for beautiful uninterrupted views and easy access to snow trails and adventure. Just a few miles south of downtown, you're out of the the hustle and bustle during busy weekends, but close enough to enjoy restaurants, grocery stores, shops, and water sports with just a few minutes drive.

Getting Around

We suggest using your own vehicle to get around.  4 wheel drive and tire chains are strongly encouraged during winter months, and may be required by California Highway Patrol when there's snow in the forecast.  During years with record snow fall, be sure to keep an eye on local road conditions, and carry a shovel, chains, and water in your vehicle.

House Rules

1. Communication is key!  Check in after 4pm.  Check out by 11am.  Our office hours are between 8am-9pm, so please communicate between those hours and let us know if you plan to arrive after 9pm.

2.  Honesty is the best policy! Let us know about ALL guests who will be coming to the house. Maximum Occupancy is 12, and we think maximum 6 adults would be most comfortable. Pets are allowed, $100 pet fee each. 2 well-behaved dogs max, which must be accompanied by an owner or in a crate, never left alone.

3. No parties! We know this home holds a lot of people, but please respect our occupancy limit, and know that the bunk beds will probably not be comfortable for adults. No smoking of any kind. Removal of smoke detectors is illegal. Loud music, excessive rowdiness, excessive drinking, smoking, etc. will result in a $1,000 party fine. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am.

4. Be respectful! When using outdoor areas (patio, bbq, games, etc.), and provided amenities, please clean up after yourself so the next guests can enjoy them as well. If something is wrong, low, or out, please let us know so we can fix it.

5. Have fun! Our goal is to host a vacation to remember. Please don't book this house if you don't agree with the rules. We'll always do our best to make sure you have the best time, but we definitely stick to our rules!

6. Be a good neighbor! Please don't leave trash outside where it will attract bears and other wild animals.  There is a provided dumpster for your convenience.  If you're parking on the street, park the correct way and don't block the street or others' garages. Thank you!

House was very clean and good amenities. However it was smaller than anticipated. Fun family games in garage. Propane tanks were empty and needed refills l. Overall it fit our family in a more cozy arrangement.

A cabin getaway!
The cabin is an easy drive to get to from Fresno to Shaver. Parking is limited, but there is additional parking not too far of a walk from the property. It’s definitely a great getaway for family and friends. Cabin is spacious and a short drive to Shaver lake. It has a fully equipped kitchen and provides other amenities such as a BBQ grill, a ping pong table, and board games for kids to play with. The only comment I would make is that the floors were dirty as if no thorough mopping had been done. I’d recommend wearing slippers or shoes around the house. My family also found trash like empty liquor bottles under the beds as we were cleaning and checking out. Other than the cleanliness of the home being a concern, everything else was great. We wouldn’t mind booking here again.
