It was very clean and the staff were very professional. Everything was pretty fancy and it was a very upscale experience, yet not that expensive. I really enjoyed my stay. I can’t think of anything I disliked. Some of the staff can’t speak English, but that’s all over Shanghai.

We did not get a chance to use it on Mar 7 because the booked date was wrong. It should be Feb 7 instead of Mar 7. We tried to talk with hotel manager on Feb. 7 for change or get some credits,it was rejected,The hotel asked us talk to Expedia but we can not reach it in china. We have to pay full price for the Feb 7. Before Mar. 7,we go there to negociate again,hotel still refuses to give us credit. Since we paid for March 7 via Expedia, hotel got the payment,it should be give customer some credit or refund if there is a date issue especially there is a full month gap,

The pool was closed. They did not have it open or available during the stay. They refused to let us use it and they did not tell us when we checked in that the pool was not open. Also, the breakfast was average at best. Two years ago I stayed here and it was the best place in Shanghai but today half of it was closed: no pancakes, no bread pudding, coffee was not hot, and the milk was watered down. No room servie was available, During these times, they shoud hire a lifeguard so guests can swim and have their normal menu for lunch. We would have extended and stayed 1-2 more days but the quality of stay and food was not the way it used to be. On their menu , they said they had no "steamed rice" or "spaghetti" , common foods and items they had before 2019. Even when requested, they ignored me when I asked for basic things. the only good thing was they gave me a toothbrush, but they should have offered a refund upon check in becaus the pool was closed, just suggest they get a foreign worker there, to have some basic standards.

Pool was ok , Breakfast was great. This pullman has a better breakfast than the Pullman South Shanghai one, just more choices and food tasted fresh. Walking distance from train station and 7-11 is right next door if you need to buy something.

Can’t Believe it is Accor....
Service level is far below expectations when check in. Luckily the lady do the cleaning has try her best to accommodate for all the services. Smoking smell when we walk in to the room despite we requested non smoking room. Construction activities during the time which very disturbing.
