Beautiful views - we have window to a popular waterfall. We didn't say long enough to explore the area, but based on the crowd, town seemed pretty popular and convenient for ton of entertinement.

Room was pricey, but generally spacious with a large bathroom. We had to request towels that were forgotten. Limited outlets for recharging. Room was next to a common area which could get loud in the evenings. Very walkable to the main part of the town for breakfast and dinner. Amazing drive in to town.

Nice Little Gem
After a white knuckle drive over the pass through dense fog, this guesthouse was a welcome sight. Attractive place within easy waking distance to town and restaurants. All eleven rooms were occupied, but you'd never guess because it was so quiet. We had a triple room with a view of town and a huge ferry. Shared bathroom, but we never had to wait to use them. Comfortable bed, good reading light, several outlets available for charging electronics. One of those coffee machines with multiple options was in the kitchen area, and there's a refrigerator to stash some food. They even had a washer/dryer available, but the dryer took a long time. We probably just didn’t know how to set all the function properly. Very happy with our stay here. P.S. Dinner at Kaffi Lara - El Grillo Bar was superb.

Nice simple place with everything we needed. The room was clean, pleasant, and had a great view of the mountains. Access to the kitchen and laundry was a great bonus. The staff member who supported us was very enjoyable and informative. We enjoyed our two night stay.

We were welcomed by a fill-in for the owner, and she was very nice. A simple, small room, clean, with a spectacular view out the back of the mountain as the rain fell, creating many waterfalls. Seydisfjordur is a special place, the aura of a smallish town that is welcoming to visitors, and the hotel felt the same. The communal kitchen where you could make coffee or tea or hot chocolate provided (and any other meal) with board games and seating, so lovely. We had a wonderful dinner in town at the cafe, and wonderful walk around the lake and the "downtown". And it had great meaning, "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" was filmed here and its inspirational messages resonated during our stay and for always. Thank you!
