You get what you pay for
For context we didnt arrive until 11 p.m. First thing is there are no outside lights, aside from a string of lights that are hung in what I would consider the front yard. They were not plugged in. The inside was nice and clean, butit was hot.

To Far Out & other Issues
If you are wanting to be secluded then this might be good for you, but we looked at it and stated not far from Pigeon Forge, but it was over a 30 min drive to get anywhere that had food, gas, or shopping. Plus, no hot water, hot tub didn't stay hot and not enough water in it along with other issues. We will not go back there.

Worst Stay in the Smokies
This entire stay was a disappointment from the moment we arrived. Absolutely nothing was clean at our 6 pm check in- there was pee left on the toilet seat and dead ants all over the bathroom. Every dish we pulled from the kitchen cabinet was not clean, we spent our first 2 hours of the stay cleaning so we could sleep because the cleaning crew could not come till tomorrow…and they never came to clean in our 4 day stay dispute calling and requesting several times. The Kitchen barley had enough equipment to make dinner- we had to eat in shifts because there was not enough cutlery to accommodate 7 people. There was no broom, vacuum, or dishrags in the house so we could clean ourselves. The water coming out of the faucet was brown, so make sure you bring your own or you’ll have to drive 30 minutes back down the mountain to find drinking water. After all that we would have loved to relax in the hot tub or use the firepit. However the hot tub was absolutely disgusting and had a thick ring of dead skin and hair attached to the side- the knobs were also missing to control the tub so even if we cleaned it we couldn’t use it. And at every home I’ve stayed at they have provided a few logs for a fire- this was not the case here- it required another trip back down the mountain. Oh, there was also blood on the blankets on the bunk beds. For the price I paid I would expect the stewardship to be at a much higher caliber. Instead I left feeling frustrated, ignored, and uncared for.

First time vrbo rent
Overall it was a good experience. A bit far out of the way from what we expected. A couple of minor issues with the hot tub. Nothing we couldn’t over come.

Nice home
Was a beautiful place to stay but the neighborhood is kinda sketchy, if you’re looking for something away from the big city this is the place.
