With floor to ceiling windows, you will be mesmerized by the beauty of the Smoky Mountains. Located approximately 6 miles from Pigeon Forge, this Bluff Mountain cabin offers mountain views that will leave you breathless. The main level offers 1 bedroom with a Queen Size Bed, full bathroom, fully-equipped kitchen, living-room and dining room area. Upstairs in the open loft area, you will find a Queen Size Bed, full bathroom, and pool table.

Located at near the tippy top of Bluff Mountain, House of the Rising Sun offers magnificent mountain views without ever having to leave your Smoky Mountain cabin. The southern breezes lift the soul and all your cares seem to disappear at this mountainside retreat. With the expansive amount of windows, viewing the mountains from either level is incredibly indulging.

Outside on the U-shaped covered porch area, enjoy the smell of fresh mountain air as you take a moment to relax. The outdoor hot tub is nice to relax in after a long day hiking in the Smokies.

The cabin features an electric fireplace and 1 big screen television. There is a full-sized, fully-equipped kitchen with microwave and coffeemaker and a charcoal cooking grill outside (bring your own charcoal).

Enjoy the convenience to area attractions like Dixie Stampede, Dollywood, and The Christmas Place.

The road up to the cabin is very STEEP. The access road to this cabin is paved but does have an incline. We can make it up in a Prius with no problem. This cabin is not for the less adventurous type. If you want to be near shopping and flat roads this is not for you. If you want to be near the park with a breathtaking view and hiking nearby... look no further!

Motorcycles and trailers are not recommended. 4-wheel drive is recommended for adverse winter conditions.

Not worth the effort
We arrived at the cabin and the weather was nice, after unloading our truck we decided to drive into town to get groceries during which time it began to snow.We were not able to drive back to the cabin due to snow and other cars that had slide into one another blocking the road, we had to walk to the cabin 2.6 miles each way in 18 degree weather, we would have just stayed at a hotel but our luggage was at the cabin along with our medications. So we hiked the 2.6 miles UPHILLL to the cabin while carrying our groceries . Three hours later we when arrived we began to put the groceries away And that when we noticed the mice. There was several mice running around, and we found feces in all the drawers and cabinets along with poison and traps so the owners were obviously aware of the infestation. I emailed them and they seemed unconcerned but only offered to refund the cleaning fee for me. The only thing I found pleasant about the cabin was the view.

Great stay
The reason I put 4 for cleanliness is because there was a lot of cob webs and what not in the corners of the shower. Upstairs under and around the bed was dirty and there was beer cans off in the front yard from the balcony. Nothing that bothered me more than the reason for a 4 Star vs a 5 Star in cleanliness. Will be back for sure!

Great place!
We came to Sevierville for the weekend to get married and this cabin was perfect! We were within 15 minutes of everywhere we needed to be. There was plenty of lodging nearby for our family. Lots of shopping and restaurants near by. The road up felt a little scary but the views were totally worth it. The cabin was super clean and very comfortable. Highly recommend!!

Sweet little getaway
My kids and I enjoyed the cabin for a few days. This is literally on the top of the mountain and has the best sunrise view. We had most of our meals in the cabin and had everything this we needed as far as pans, dishes, and utensils. The hot tub was super nice and the beds are comfortable, which is a huge plus for me! Would love to go back!

This cabin was absolutely beautiful. It was remote and private, the views were amazing, and the cabin was exactly what we expected! The loft and the porch gave amazing sunrise views, a perfect place to wake up in the woods. I would absolutely book this location again!

Loved this little cabin on the hill. After a day of galivanting around Easter Tennessee we couldn't wait to get back to the cabin and relax on the porch or soak in the hot tub. My fave? Sipping a cup of coffee in the porch, waiting for the sun to rise. Our only regret was that it was not available for us to extend our stay a couple more days.

Best cabin yet!
We have stayed in several cabins throughout the years and this is the first one we’ve ever said that we WILL come back to. The views are amazing, pictures just can’t do it justice. We saw 3 bears and deer. 2 of the bears were right behind the cabin and the other one crossed the road leading up to it, and the deer were all over! The cabin was neat and clean, the hosts are very nice and will keep in contact with you. This cabin is situated atop the mountain so as the description says, the road is steep, but you can’t have these type views without going up. Oh and there is a waterfall behind the cabin that is just a 5-10 minute walk! (Follow the gravel road on the right at the bottom of the drive, at the split, follow the gravel road to the right) We look forward to staying here again soon!
