It's located in a convenient location. A room is pretty spacious considering its location. It's not dirty but not super clean. A staff I talked to when checking in was not nice and lacks communication skills. Towels were visibly used a lot so they need to replace them. A mysterious water related sound was unpleasant so I couldn't sleep much during my stay.

the room I stay at was decent. Clean but old. people at the front seemed busy but helpful in korean or English. I liked the sauna in the basement. the sauna is very old style,but well maintained, nice staffs though they don’t speak English at all.

1. Young male lobby staff was very unfriendly. Lacked basic hospitality level. 2. Ammenity goods were not properly refilled daily. Example: for two days straight there was no water bottle, toothbrush and raisor refill also was skipped.

Good budget/midrange option and good value for mon
Well located just a 5 minute walk from metro station and about 30 minutes walk from palaces and 15 minutes from Dongdaemun Market. The hotel is on a side street so rooms are pretty quiet. Decet sized rooms, basically furnished but the basics are there - fast wifi, TV, kettle, fridge (with water replenished daily), toiletries etc. Bed is comfortable and clean. The whole hotel is a bit dated looking and could do with a refurb. Buffet breakfast was quite good - with toast and eggs, soups, rice, Korean sides etc. Breakfast room is a bit small and you may end up sharing table. Little or no English spoken but checkin achieved without any hassle. Good budget/midrange option and good value for money.

I liked the room next to the terrace. The breakfast was sufficient. Most stuff don't speak English and since I don't speak Korean, that meant I couldn't enquire about certain things I wanted to. I was expecting a slightly bigger room, the pictures are a bit misleading in the sense that they don't unambiguously specify which picture for which room.

Good stay
Conveniently located to good food nearby. Excellent range of toiletries although we wished they had a shower curtain. Take exit 5 of Metro station Dongdaemun History & Cultural Park & you will find the hotel on the opposite side of the road. However, be prepared for long flight of stairs as with most of Seoul's Metro stations.

In a great location right in the centre of Dondaemun , but nice and quiet .We were the only westerners in the hotel which was brilliant.Made so welcome ,a lovely breakfast , nice room ,very clean , comfy bed ,just what was required.The free sauna was an added bonus, loved it ,went every day !!
