This Harris property is very good, it's close to the beach, it has a great swimming pool, the staff are very friendly and it's good value for money. This is the second time I have stayed there, and I will happily stay again.

The Harris Hotel offers excellent value for money. It's well situated just a short walk to the beach. The pools are very good. Parking is easy for scooters. There are many affordable restaurants nearby and a very good coffee shop opposite. The Harris's restaurant served up one of the best fillet steaks, it was beautifully cooked and very tender. I would happily stay there again.

Always a great stay here. Excellent staff in all departments. Very busy period at the hotel. Only recommend having the walls in the elevators cleaned couple times daily. As many guests not considerate of others dirty the walls. Not a sanitary feel.

The hotel itself is fine for the price , around the $50-$60/night AUD. The room is clean, pretty good king sized bed with crisp clean white linen. Small 'bar' fridge barely running cold, more of cool side. The BIGGEST issue was the NOISE, omg. Was put into a room with an ajoining door (double door), there may as well have been a hanging towel between room, suffice to say second and third nights were horrendous with occupants in adjoining rooms ridiculously loud, different people both nights and both so disrespectable to others. Would I stay again, doubt it and if I did only if no adjoining door and room was not facing street which mine was not, thank god as that would have been the last straw The final night there was a huge Balinese celebration going on beside the hotel until 1am (I was on 5th floor) and finally feel asleep to new occupants coming into adjoining room about 0130 who immediately opened their adjoining door and rattled the heck out of mine, not once but again about 15 mins later. I was simply gobsmacked someone would do this, I was quiet every night sadly it was not reciprocated. I mentioned when checking out if they had room not facing room and without adjoining room doors, the gentlemen said yes and I could tell it definately was not the first time it had been asked, and no nothing will ever be done about it. Noise level 1/5, room 3/5, location 4/5.

I found personally that the staff were very helpful being someone who is on a walking stick. You need understanding of your situation. I found it. Harris gave me that and was very helpful with all my needs and if I ever returned to Bali even when it will be the first place I come to, when in Seminyak

This property is not at all as the photos depict it. There were only 3 lounge chairs around the pool area, which is more like a lap pool. Reception staff make no attempt to greet you and also refuse to help with transportation. No soundproofing so if you are situated on the street side, good luck! Over the 10 nights we stayed, we had to call housekeeping to bring us toilet paper on a number of occasions because they wouldn’t replenish. Do yourself a favour and book elsewhere!
