This tiny cabin had everything you may need for the night (frying pan in good condition (better that few houses we stayed in:), pan, kettle, spatula, olive oil, even hair dryer). Heating system is awesome, warms up the cabin very quickly. Everything was very clean too. Loved it!!!
We stayed at 5 different places on our Iceland visit and Gesthus Selfoss was the best value BY FAR of all of them. Cabins were well appointed, fully functional, and comfortable. Nice little veranda with table/chairs. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was an extra charge but reasonable and nice. We ended up staying an extra night, on a weekend, and they found rooms for us.
The cabin we stayed in was alright for a family of 3 for one night, but I could imagine it being very cramped for more people or longer stay.
There's a small kitchenette, but it's hard to do any cooking due to the tight space.
We were feeling lucky to have the cabin to stay though looking at the camping tents right outside our window as it was raining very hard throughout the night.

Great cottage at a camp site
Great location near local amenities, it is also at the local camping site. Reasonably priced, condition may not be the most modern, but ok. There is breakfast served at the camp site restaurant at additional cost, but did not try.
Although the small cabin was basically fine in terms of comfort, there was a strong smell coming from the bathroom, like a pit toilet stank, which was so powerful we needed to keep the door to the bathroom closed. Even keeping the window open was not enough to dissipate it.
