Room was great!! Checking in was not. I blame Expedia because after the request from Hotel Bella to pay at their website, Expedia wrote this: "Stay secure! Never provide credit card information in a message or on a website after completing your Expedia booking. Don't make any electronic payments outside of our platform." As a result I chose not to pay until I arrived and the codes to access my room did not work. I had to call for help. It was very disturbing. A woman who came later had paid a week earlier and couldn't get her codes to work either.

Great stay except, good communication, however, it would be a good idea to mention in your email or on the code entry pad to use the pound key after you enter your code to gain entry. Also, turn heat down or include fans. These minor changes could easily bring you to five star.

There are some parts in the bathroom were missing. But overall the apt is really convenient, and close to everything. Only thing I need to mention is there is no front desk. The code to enter the building and room were supposed to be sent via email to me. I received the emails, but no code was included. I have to call the hotel to get the code. I saw many other people for the same problem when they wanted to get into the building.

good stay
we travelled south of iceland and needed an accommodation for few days. the apartments are reasonably spacious and modern. coffee machine was provided. large bathtub available and i could enjoy thermal icelanding water not being in a condition to actually visit the public baths.

Email came with no code, so could not get in to the property, nor the room. The room smelled of cigarette smoke and carpet was visibly dirty. An email request to move was ignored. By far the worst hotel in the 10 hotels we stayed at in Iceland.

We only stayed here one night on our last night in Iceland but I wish we could have stayed longer. Access and parking was easy; the apartment was spacious and well appointed. It was really nice having a washer/dryer and full kitchen. That said, the restaurant downstairs was AMAZING and not to be missed!!!! We look forward to returning. :)

Check in with code was easy. No oil, salt and pepper. Texted staff 2 times no response. Check out is 11am but staff came at 10:15am but nice and let me finish packing up. Very clean and comfortable.

In general the stay was very pleasant, sadly there is no luggage storage anywhere on the premises. When I asked for one I got a link to a company that provides self storage service, but nowhere in Selfoss, so that was interesting. Luckily we were able to check in earlier, if not we would have lost half of the day, as it’s difficult to hike with luggage, and we were travelling by bus, so could leave luggage in the car. There is no reception, you get codes to access your room, so be sure to ask for those as we got ours when we arrived after requesting it. In the room you would find great bathroom fully disabled-friendly, clean and spacious. Bedroom had two single beds clipped together to work as a double with very comfortable mattresses. Small fridge was more than enough, but sadly in terms of equipment there was only capsule coffee machine and two cups. No plates, cutlery, tea, just few coffee capsules and nespresso machine. TV set mounted on the wall had few channels with mostly English TV stations, that’s was also surprising. Overall it’s a great place to stay on your way either east or west of southern coast of Iceland.

Check-in was automated and hassle-free. The room was clean and spacious. The location is near the center of town and accessible. I would definitely recommend this place if you are staying for a night or two. I also recommend GK bakery which is right next door.
