Leider wurden wir in der Dependance Champ des oiseux untergebracht, mussten somit das Auto nehmen um zum Restaurant zu kommen. Also nur 1 Glas Wein zum Essen. Sonst war alles in Ordnung.

Hatten eine Suite gebucht diese wäre im Hauptebäude direkt an der Strasse gewesen.Haben dann aber lieber im Nebengebäude das kleinere Zimmer mit Balkon genommen.Die Matratzen leider sehr weich musten unsere Decken darunter legen.Bei dem Zimmerpreis geht das gar nicht. Frühstück für 16 Euro Ok leider viele Leute ohne Mundschutz am Büffet.Das Schwimmbad ist leider ein paar Strassen weiter !!Whirlpool ok aber vorab anmelden. Die Auswahl im Restaurant sehr hochpreisig .Haben in der nähe aber sehr gut gegessen Hatten den A lami Fritz wegen der Lage zum Wandern ausgesucht. Die Chefin und das Personal sehr freundlich das Lokal war an dem Wochenende von Mittag bis Abend rappel voll.

Schöne ruhige Lage aber doch sehr zentral als Ausgangspunkt für Tagestouren im gesamten Elsass, angenehmes Ambiente aber sehr kleine Zimmer und hinsichtlich Angebot und Originalität preislich völlig überbewertete Küche (haben in anderen Elsässer Restaurants besser und billiger gegessen)

De kamer was wat klein, maar voor enkele euro's meer werd ons een ruimere kamer met 2 bedden voorgesteld. Correcte service, gezellig hotel, mooi terras, zeer goed restaurant.

Erholung im Elsass
Ein freundlicher Empfang und die Zuteilung einer besseren Zimmerqualität als gebucht waren ein sehr erfreulicher Einstieg in einen erholsamen Urlaub. Auch das Restaurant im Hause war eine wunderbare Ergänzung. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und der Service sehr freundlich und geduldig. Das Frühstück glänzte mit guten Lebensmitteln (hohe Qualität) und einem rechhaltigen französischem Angebot. Der Service wurde auch hier sehr wichtig genommen. Der kleine Ort Ottrot erwies sich als gute Ausgangsbasis für vielfältige Wanderungen durch Wälder, Obstwiesen und Weinberge. So hatte das Auto auch ein paar Tage Urlaub. Der Nachbarort Obernai und die Stadt Straßburg sind zudem mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln gut zu erreichen und die Besuche wert.
